2009 MTV VMAs: EXCLUSIVE ‘NEW MOON’ MOVIE TRAILER

OMG!! I didn’t think I could be any more excited for the movie, but every time a trailer comes out I just get more and more!! When it showed Bella crying/screaming in bed it was like instant tears from my eyes! The whole thing was just amazing. I can tell you what the rest of my night will be…but I bet you can guess.

Oh my gosh! I think it looks absolutely amazing, I felt chills, suspense, heartbreak..I cannot wait until November!!

WOO HOO! Kristen Stewart did an amazing job in the scene where Bella wakes up from her dream screaming! Just how I imagined it.

first off, i love twilight, a lot.

but this trailer.. idk. i just felt like there were so many things that happened here that aren’t in the book. like i know it can’t be exact, but what’s with the volturi fightnig with edward near the end? like what was that? and jake didn’t turn into a wold when bella punched him.. i know its just a trailer, and things could look different in the movie.. but this clip left me extremely dissapointed.

hopefully, when i see the movie at midnight on the 20th.. i’ll be proven wrong.. :/

So awesome!!! I know that things don’t get physical with the volturi like they did in the preview, but that looked awesome!! Edward is getting a little tougher when it comes to protecting Bella. Perfection!

Why are the Volturi throwing Edward around? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember that happening in the book… The trailer was GREAT, but I hope they don’t stray too far from the book!

OMG I thought I would sound so stupid saying it brought me to tears but after reading that everyone else cried too I don’t feel so bad!!! OMG this is going to be so GREAT after the books I was totally a Team Edward Girl but my gosh Taylor may make me love the dog too!!!!

@Nicole, no Edward didn’t get thrown around like that in the book, but I’m actually liking that unexpected brawl, brings more effect to the movie audience, making the Volturi a lot more lethal!

I am so excited. Gotta love how the first trailer was all about Jacob and they made this one all about Edward. I was bugged by the things that they changed but I don’t think it will bother me in the context of the the film as a whole.

We should all know that they are going to change a few things to heighten the drama of the movie. Nonreaders somewhat need these changed moments in the movie to understand the story a little bit better. Don’t worry about the little changes… just enjoy the wonder that is NEW MOON!!!! The TRAILER WAS AWESOME! I can’t see New Moon disappointing us. TRULY!

I loved the trailor!Can’t wait till November!Yea, Edward didn’t fight the Volturi in the book but they tend to add some things to make it more visually entertaining so whatever.Its all good with me.I do prefer the contacts they used in Twilight these seem too fake.

I’m with you it has exceeded my expectations, I can not find fault with one thing. So far every important thing is in there and then some added bonuses to really make us feel extremely sad, frightened, anxious, and we know the end of the movie will make us happy.

I too find nothing to complain about, it’s an extremely visual adaptation of the book, kudos to CW, love you for bringing this to life for me. AAAHHH Nov. please hurry!!!!

I wish it was November 20th now…. or at least that’s what I ran around screaming…. oh and Kristen’s hair looks sooo much better now…. I like the pixie cut….. And Rob sounded a bit sloshed when he presented….. Taylor is soooo sweet! This trailer doesn’t make me hate him or Rob which is good cause I love them both as actors! And Bella (Kristen) screaming in her sleep was the highlight…. kinda reminds me when I was crazy because this guy that I was in love with left me and all our mutual friends went with him….. like Bella with the Cullens…. I never thought that, except unfortunately we never got back together…. but his girlfriend just broke up with him…. so I’m like a little happy that he got hurt too, because I was like Bella in New Moon except worse…. he deserves some repentance for what he did to me….. anyway I just wanna say I love this trailer!

Edward, Bella, and Jacob looked amazing, not to mention the rest of the cast!

Holy. Criminy. That was SO spectacular. I sat through the whole thing, with my eyes wide as saucers and I don’t think I blinked even once. It was amazing and watching the Volturi slam Edward down onto the ground made me take such a deep intake of breath, that calling it a gasp would be an understatement. It’s gonna be so awesome.

I am so happy with this trailer! It looks awesome! I love everything about it! Kristen is going to kick butt in this one! I even love the stuff that’s added that not in the book. Bella looks bad a## in the scene with the pack and then the fight at the end with Edward. OMG!

This is absolutely amazing! It has exceeded all of my expectations. I can NOT wait till I see it in November! MY GOD!!! I totally vote for him to direct New Moon.

Do you think we can get Chris to redo Twilight? THIS! is what it’s supposed to look like. The movie is going to be great.

Okay normally its hard to top the books. But I really think this movie is going to out do the book. Chris shouldve been the director for Twilight. The wolves look awesome. The scenes with the Volturi are extreme but in a good way. There arent words for how good this movie will be!

On another note, on the pixes from VMA last night, it’s apparent that Rob and Kristen are together (looks). However, Taylor doesn’t look to happy about anything…(not smiling).

So much more than I ever expected. I can’t believe I actually started to cry when Alice told Bella Edward thought she was dead. I know what is going to happen, but seeing it brought to life makes it much more real. November can’t come fast enough.

Oh, My, Edward… My favourite line has to be when Edward says “You can go to hell” Damn! Book Edward wouldn’t say this, but I can totally see Rob’s Edward doing this… And when he takes off his cloak?!! *sigh*

I love it because there is more Edward. I know there is no visual with Edward in the book but it’s such a clever idea. And the Volturi… not a fan of the eyes, but still amazing! And no, the book doesn’t have that fight between Edward and the Volturi but I really like this idea. There SHOULD be more violence damn it! it’s a vampire film! and also… Edward’s fighting to protect Bella… so it makes perfect sense.

I agree with Tiffiny… Chris so should have done Twilight. This may be better than the book… I know that’s crazy to say as a hardcore Twilighter, but from the trailer… can totally see it.

I’m seriously gonna cry, no lie. I need November to hurry its butt up! I’m buying my tickets as soon as the theaters in my area release them. The NM trailer was so good last night that my boyfriend asked if he could go with me and my friends.

i really dont mind him adding things that werent in the book. new moon the book moved really slow for me so if they add in some excitement it’ll be way better than the book. im too excited

I love it when Edward says, “You can go to hell!” And Dakota Fanning as Jane, OMG! “This may hurt just a little.” No one could be more perfect for the role of Jane! Then there are the wolves! OMG! They have done an amazing job with them! This is going to be one hell of a movie!

omg its amazing i almost screamed when i saw it. i don’t mind when they don’t completly follow the book as edward/demtri(i think) fight is AMAZING and thats only art whats been shown. can’t wait for november 20.
