If you’re not glued to the TV watching the 81st Annual Academy Awards, you may have missed a glimpse of our beloved Robert Pattinson, who is set to present at tonight’s Oscar awards. If you missed it, have no fear – we at TA are committed to bringing you all your Rpattz/Oscar coverage. And, will Rob and Kristen be in a song and dance number? LA Times is reporting that rumors have swirled about the possibility:

Ryan Seacrest chatted with “Mamma Mia!” young love interest Dominic Cooper who will be appearing in a musical number on the Oscarcast tonight. Dressed in a tux today, he looks far different than the pink lycra he donned for the closing number of that smash movie musical. Rumor has it he and his on-screen love interest Amanda Seyfried will be part of a song and dance fest along with “High School Musical” sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens and “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

    Jajaja I just saw his presentation with Amanda Seyfried and he made the sexy and mysterious vampire! He look so sexy! he joke about that he had to became a vampire to find the right woman! jajaja I laugh at that. And on the romantic clips they show some of the twilight most romantic scenes! I was about to cry! JAJAJAJAJAJA

    He has presented and did a great job. They presented the Romance of 2008. The reel had three Twilight clips! THEY INCLUDED THE BEDROOM KISS!!

    He did great! I’m a little sad that it went so fast, he didn’t actually get to give anyone an award, but it was good. I wonder what he thought about his Twilight lines. :)

    As we all knew, Rob would be at the Oscars…but of course, I wasn’t sure which channel to watch the pre-show on!! Unfortunately, I chose Channel 5 (KTLA) and of course, no sight of Rob…then I had the urge to check E! and blammo, there he was being interviewed by Ryan!! That was definitely a nice surprise! Thanks TA for posting all the videos so that I could catch everything I missed!!

    As for his presentation of Romance films in 2008 (how appropriate, right?) he did a great job; although I think he had the jitters :)

    Also, I’d like to comment on Rob’s AMAZING placement for the actual award show!! Behind Marissa Tomei and Micky Rourke? Wow, 2nd row…amazing!! Not bad for a guy who says he couldn’t get a job to save his life just a few short years ago…congratulations Rob!! :)

    i agree, it was an added bonus to see him every time they showed Micky Rourke, i dont know about anyone else but i could only see Rob when they were talking about Micky for best actor :)

    No doubt! What great placement. I almost wanted Mickey Rourke to win just so we could see more of Rob. It was nice of them to angle the camera in such a way that we could see him the whole time they talked about Mickey Rourke during the best actor segment. :)

    I was so proud of Rob because he looked clean and ready for the Oscars. As he presented, he was very calm and focused. I was a bit worried he’d be a nervous wreck, but he didn’t show it. I applauded afterward because he presented so well! He didn’t even stumble, laugh nervously, or run his hand through his hair. I was happy; he did great! :)

    Ok, my bad…I realize now that I totally misspelled Mickey’s name wrong! My bad!!

    But I totally agree…that camera angle during Mickey Rourke’s portion of Best Male Performance was PERFECT!! I wasn’t looking at anyone else but Rob…HAHAHAHA. I mentioned it to my husband after Sean Penn was finished with his acceptance speech and he said, “I KNEW you’d notice that!!” (he was watching in another room in the house).

    In response to “Regs” yes, I did notice he was slightly pale, too. And, I’ve had 2 friends comment on how he looked particulairly “vampire-ish”…one even joking that Twilight is the story to cover up the fact that he truly is a vampire ;) LOL!!

    I am really concerned with Rob…… I don’t think it was just me but he didn’t look or, act like himself as he first did when Twlilght first came out he looked so unhappy I miss his fun humor………please Don’t Let it change you Rob…………
