90210′S DUSTIN MILLIGAN TALKS ‘TWILIGHT’, KRISTEN STEWART

Dustin Milligan, who appeared on the first season of 90210, spoke with Access Hollywood recently while promoting his new film and revealed that he has not one, but two Twilight connections. What are these connections? Well, before her Twilight run, Kristen Stewart starred in two films with Dustin and Dustin actually followed up by auditioning for Twilight. Check out the interview below:

Don’t whip out your pitchforks on me, but I actually think Dustin has a very Edward-y sort of look. We all love The Rob, but if for some reason that never worked out, I think Dustin looks the part.

What did you think of this interview? Did you know Dustin and Kristen had worked together in the past? And what do you think about Dustin trying out for Twilight? Do you think he could have fit any of the roles?

    Oh my gosh! He was so funny! I have never heard of this guy before this, but I was a little sad to hear he didn’t get a part in Twilight. Now, I think all the actors in the movie do an excellent job . . .but couldn’t they have found him a part of his own? He could have been an extra vampire (for some weird reason) in the Cullen house.

    I really like this guy. If Rob didn’t get the part, I think I would’ve liked him as Edward for sure.

    He’s a cute guy, but just doesn’t come across as Edward to me – and evidently he did not have the chemistry for Kristen either as she said it had to be Rob that played the role.

    I totally liked him too and agree that he would’ve made a great Edward.He is so cute and what a great personality!I hope to see more of him .

    To be honest i never really envisioned Rob as Edward but Rob made it work for him and he did a good. But this other guy here is also really cute and he might be a good Edward sure why not.

    His cute, but being Edward I think is soo much more then just looking good. Edward is pretty complex in the book, and bringing that to live is a VERY hard thing to do. And if he didn’t get the part, its because he couldn’t bring the true Edward, and Robert could.

    Please don’t hate me for this: I never liked Rob as Edward. I think Dustin would have been near perfect. And he has such a good personality whereas Rob is a little too shy.

    No, I can’t see it. Edward is such a multi-layered character and Rob really connected with that and Edward not only has to be gorgeously handsome but also frightening. Dustin looks like a nice guy but I can’t see serious or scary in him.
    Nope..Rob is it for me!

    While Dustin Milligan IS gorgeous.. he’s too ‘nice’ to be Edward. He isn’t broody enough to be a perfect fit. Rob nailed Edward’s complex character and is stunningly gorgeous. So he’s pretty much the perfect pick. Plus him and Kristen have insane chemistry.

    omg he is so funny his British accent was funny. i don’t like when americians always think we talk posh most of us (like me)sound common.lol. i don’t see him as a Edward but if kellun didn’t get the part for Emmet Dustin might of looked good. he’s not ‘a shape’ he look nice. Not as nice as Taylor. Team Jacob all the way.

    He is adorably cute! Never heard of him but loved this interview. Loved hearing about Kris.I love Jackson but if we NEVER KNEW Jackson he could have played Jasper. NOT EDWARD. ROB is the only one who IS Edward. He does not have enough brawn to play Emmett. I would like to see this young man in a comedy since this interview. : )

    I Love Dustin! I Never Watched Him On 90210,But I Loved him In “The Messengers” And “In The Land Of Women”. I Just Dont See Him As Edward At All. Maybe As Some Other Vampire,But Not Edward. I Agree With The Girl that Did The Interview,I Could See Him As Emmett.

    I watched Dustin on 90210 and thought he would be a perfect Edward ever since I noticed his neck. Weird, I know, but he has that chiseled physique that Stephanie always describes in the books. Rob plays a good Edward, but he’s a little too scrawny and goofy for my tastes. : ) Dustin would have drawn me in way more.

    OMFG! Dustin Milligan is my ULTIMATE CRUSH!!! I’ve been in love with him ever since In the land of women!!! i watched 90210 the whole season and i cried-i know its pathetic-when i found out he wasnt returning. :( and ummm no offense but i think that i’d rather have him play edward than rob becuase i just think that dustin is a much better actor…and he’s hilarious too!

    Rob is Edward…
    The only one I have ever seen who comes close in looks and tortured soul is Luke Grimes who plays Ryan Lafferty in Brothers and Sisters, when I first saw him I thought
    gee, he looks a bit like Edward, ( a younger version of Rob playing Edward)

    i cannot imagine this dude as edward i can’t but i do like him hes a great actor and hes hot 2 i can just imagine him as jasper mayb ya if he was in twilight he wuld b good for the jasper character
