ANGRY TWILIGHT FAN LASHES OUT AT PEOPLE MAGAZINE

TeamSwitzerland got her copy of People Magazine this week. In the “mail bag” section, where readers comment on stories, she found this:

“In the story about Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, you ruined the surprise about the character Jacob. I’ve just started reading the second book in the series and am now completely distracted by the fact and disappointed to not discover it on my own. I feel seriously cheated and wish that you would’ve refrained from giving us this detail. Thanks a lot.”

The above letter to People is a response to the article about Stephenie in a recent issue..
WARNING: DON’T TICK OFF THE TWILIGHT FANS. THEY ARE HARD-CORE!
I can’t stop laughing. I don’t think she should be too mad because the book has been out for a while. What do you think?

Oh, about him being a werewolf? I guessed that in the first one when he told the story about “the cold ones.” You can’t have vampires in a story without werewolves. Total ‘duh’ factor.

Lol omg the book came out so long ago if you didnt finish reading the series you should be reading anything else that relates they should have known that there was going to be spoilers not all twilighters can be smart lol what a dummy

True, it has been out for a while, but they also have to expect that a lot of people are just now going to start reading the series because of the movie.

I was spoiled when I first started reading the books because I would go online and look things up. I was spoiled on the Werewolf thing, but, I didn’t get angry. It was my own fault. Plus, all that stuff is freely talked about between people. Hide under a rock if you don’t want to see things. I did that when Breaking Dawn came out.

I hate being suprised about what happens in books, but come on now. If you don’t want to know about a book, don’t read an article about anything concerning it, especially with these books. Honestly, if you don’t want to know what happens in this series, you need to hide under a rock. It’s not like New Moon is new, ya know? Stupid people…giving true Twihards a bad name… -_-

ha u know what i say to this “fan” why the hell did u wait so long to read the books? to me u arent a fan. its your fault that u read this article knowing that the movie is coming out really soon and magazines are going to be talking about it. so im glad they ruined it for u. the books have been out forever and u are now just getting to them?

lol Taylor talks about werewolves ALL THE TIME. I guess he gets a free pass cuz he’s cute XD But I can understand where she might be coming from especially if she’s a new reader of the book. Maybe she hasn’t seen any of those videos or interviews of the cast so I can’t really blame her. It IS funny though how she’s hella trippin haha

When he is talking to bella about the stories in the first book, you know something is going to happen…even if he didnt know he was gonna turn into one.

AND..if you dont want to ruin the books[if you havent read them], THEN DONT READ ANYTHING ELSE UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED BREAKING DAWN!!!! [and the 1st chapter of Midnight Sun on S. Meyer's Website!]

I agree w/ what most everyone else has said… the books (other than BD) have been out for a long time, and are super popular, so the only way not to have things spoiled is to hide under a rock- plus, like other ppl have said, Jacob (and the “wolf pack”- hello? Solomon Trimble and Krys, anyone?) have referenced the whole wolf thing a lot- it’s completely inevitable. Plus, w/out having any spoilers, I knew Jacob was gonna turn out to be a werewolf as soon as I started reading the second book- maybe even b4 then. So it’s not like they were spoiling much. However, the irony of this whole situation makes me laugh hysterically- this mail in response to an article titled “WARNING: DON’T TICK OFF THE TWILIGHT FANS. THEY ARE HARD-CORE!” lol how funny is that? however ppl like this really do give Twilighters a bad name, which kind of balances out the hilarity w/just a little bit of sadness/regret- or something- I can’t quite put my finger on the right emotion, but whatever, those are close enough.
