Hi Twilighters! I just wanted to give you all a friendly reminder that the Twilight Soundtrack Party at Hot Topic is tomorrow night! (For more specific details, read our earlier post about it.)
If you are planning on attending, we want to know what you think! Send us your review of the Twilight soundtrack and any pictures you take while you’re there!
(Psst…we hear they are giving away surprise gifts…so make sure you’re there!)

Of course - I cannot wait to hear Rob’s piece and Bella’s Lullaby!!! My daughter is hesitant to go because she wants to experience the music for the first time with the movie…she has not even searched any of the songs on you tube - she is true to her convictions!
We have a group going - I invited all the Twilight moms in Hawaii that I know…but, my daughter said she will shop elsewhere when the music begins…but, I am staying right there in Hot Topic in my Twilight shirt!

The reason I am NOT going:
I think it should be a surprise when i see on the big screen and Edward is playing the song. I want to feel it with the movie. I want to see it for myself before I hear it. I’ve already pre-ordered the soundtrack on Paramore’s site, but when I get it, I am NOT going to listen to Bella’s Lullaby. Tempting, I know, but I’m gonna wait to hear it myself

this is so god damn unfair!!!!! i live in england=no hot topics and i reallly cant wait for robs piece or bellas lullabye so many of my american friends are going this is so unfiar!!!!!!!!!!
No I am NOT going!!! urghhhh! (I wrote about this earlier, but I feel so strongly about it I’m gonna write about it again) I am WORKING tonight (from 5:15 p.m. until about midnight), and therefore can NOT go!!!! I repeat, uurrrgghhhh! I’m absolutely DYING to, I’d give my pinkie toe or probably something more important to be able to go, but I can’t! It sucks how I essentially got a job so I could fund my Twilight addiction, but now that same job is actually PREVENTING me from fulfilliing the addiction- you just can’t win, I swear
. I guess I’m just gonna have to satisfy myself w/YouTube clips of the songs until Nov. 4th, when I finally get the full soundtrack… but it’s really not even close to the same as hearing the full soundtrack all on one CD. SO not fair!! (life isn’t fair, I know, but it still sucks).
I am going, I’m not planning on staying though. I want to pre-order my copy of the soundtrack, maybe take some pics & hopefully get some free goodies. The Hot Topic by me is telling everyone in attendance to dress up as their favorite Twilight character. Can’t wait until I can actually pick up my copy next week. Much love & respect to all. I’m going. How on earth will everyone fit in that little store?! They better turn the music up loud so if you’re stuck standing in the hall of the mall, you can still hear it! XD Need to hear Bella’s Lullaby. Yeah, it’d be cool to hear it first in the movie itself, but who am I kidding? I’ll probably play the soundtrack non stop once Nov. 4th finally gets here. Like Bella, I know my limits, and I do not have the willpower to wait.

But…Im just pre-ordering the sountrack then Im leaving..I dont want to be spoiled by bella’s lullaby..or maybe i can just ask for them to tell me when they are going to play it so i can stay longer ;D
Just got back from the party! The music is pretty good. It’s a solid soundtrack. Rob’s song is very sweet. It’s an accoustic guitar for awhile until his GORGEOUS voice is added to it. I melt. Bella’s Lullaby is instrumental but there is a piano that plays with it. I think it’s to give us both the instrumental love theme and piano in one track. I’m hoping Rob plays it straight piano in the film.
Went to the party…the soundtrack was awesome. Rob’s song…oooohhh…what a voice!!!! I agree…I hope that Rob plays the Lullabye straight in the movie.
Just got home from the CD premiere and was really neat, the free gift was a bookmark but hey, they even more new shirts of Alice, James, Jacob plus stickers and stuff! My wallet!!
OME I’m SO jealous of all you ppl writing about how you just got back from the listening party- and I just got home from work! and you talking about Rob’s song has only made me feel even worse about missing it…
I can not WAIT to get the soundtrack, so I can hear it for myself!!! Nov. 4th, hurry up and get here already- no, scratch that, let’s just skip straight to Nov. 21st!
I went to my Hot Topic soundtrack party and I was very impressed with Robs song, but not so much with Bella’s lullaby. Sorry, but I love Yiruma’s “A river runs threw you”, it is so beautiful. It is also only piano, which is what the lullaby is supposed to be. The one on the soundtrack has too many string instruments and you can’t hardly hear the piano. There really was only 2 songs I wasn’t impressed with.
BTW…Rob is a fantastic guitarist.
