Another song for you to listen to and critique.
In addition to the Perry Farrell song, the official movie soundtrack website has a video of Iron & Wine performing their song from the soundtrack.Check out this amazing video of Sam Beam performing ‘Flightless Bird, American Mouth’ live. Edward and Bella dance to this song during the Forks High School Prom, and of course it’ll be featured on the Twilight soundtrack. Get excited!
They also say that this song is one that Edward and Bella dance to at the prom — for those who have been trying to figure out what scenes the songs are in.

They allow you to comment on the official soundtrack site. I cannot figure out where any of these songs might be in the movie (unless they tell me, duh!). Can you?
I don’t like Full Moon or the Perry Farrel song. I feel meh about this one, not good or bad. At least I can understand what he’s singing as opposed to Go All The Way. Do you like this one? Does it fit the scene?

I really like the Iron and Wine song… it has a really beautiful, soft waltz-y feel and is a little different from every other prom song you’ve heard…
Not really sold on the Perry Farrell song… bit too…”dancy/clubby” for my taste…(slightly too clique in the lyrics too for me either. Thinking its probably some backing music for perhaps a small action/fast sequence (like port angeles) or a montage of sorts…
I think the overall soundtrack is very varied and interesting.. and part of the fun will me listening out for them during the movie (other than just watching… ) perhaps thats why ppl might go more than once! hee hee
At this point in time, I’m not fond of the PF song. My hope is that it only plays during the credits. LOL.
Uqh. That Go All the Way Sonq is SOOO Not Worth Beinq On the Sountrack.
iRon&Wine Sonq was Awesomee. The Lyrics Eh Not So Much.
Usually the Lyrics are supposed to mean somethinq.

Those are brilliant. But qo all the way is WAYY too cheesy by addin twilight to the name.

Thats my take. Hopefully; the other sonqs we havnt herd yet; can help boost the hype fer the soundtrack.

I like it. Its a good acoustic song. Im anticipating Robs song more though. I hope it dosent disappoint.

I like Perry Farrell’s song ALOT. Just, it doesn’t fit wit Twilight. Just cause it says the wrod twilight, doesn’t mean it fits. Anyway.

I think this song is beautiful. As for all the songs on the soundtrack, there are very few soundtracks out there that I can listen to in full and like each and every song. One soundtrack that I really dig but has a lot of “duds” on it is for Romeo and Juliet (the DiCaprio/Danes version). There are a few songs that I really love that make it a memorable, enjoyable soundtrack, while the rest are just skipped over. I think they often pick songs to go with scenes in the movies, not just all songs that sound alike or have similar lyrics. They probably have to have a varied selection. I think my other favorites are The O.C. soundtracks, but they cover whole seasons, not just one episode. Just my opinion…
lol, i like your use of the word “meh.” the song is okay…. not what i was expecting, but it’s okay. i just want to hear bella’s lullaby and rob’s song! (decode is awesome, btw)
I don’t know I kind of LIKE the Perry Farrell song. Maybe it’ll grow on people. Hey! Decode had to grow on me and I like it now. I’m sure they’re going to put it at reasonable place i the movie, and NO it won’t be at the end credits because I remember when MTV announced that Perry Farrell was doing a song for the movie that it would be at a very important part of the movie. If i’m not mistaken the words were “Crucial Scene.” But w/e everyone’s intitled to their own opinion, I like the song though. Can’t wait for tonight for the listening party.

I love it..It’s perfect for the movie…
that song is terrible. My opinion is that it is the epitome of a mainstream song just made to sell. It doesn’t make me think of Twilight at all. I hope where ever it shows up in the movie, it enhances it instead of ruining it as I feel like it would right now because it is so horribly cheesy. Im listening to it right now and am srsly cringing.
