TA INTERVIEWS ROB PATTINSON!
Today we had the opportunity to participate in a phone interview with Robert Pattinson. Along with some other fansites we got to ask him one question along with a followup. Strangely enough not every site took advantage of that followup question. Perhaps it was just nerves or maybe technical difficulties of the phone conference. We noticed one site even missed their opportunity to ask their question! Rest assured we double checked our equipment, eagerly awaited our turn, and were thoroughly prepared with our questions!
Our interviewer for the conference was Team Switzerland, who did an amazing job! She didn’t faint once during the interview as I probably would have! After she stopped hyperventilating we asked her how the experience talking to him was and she said “It was very cool. It was great to be able to hear what he was thinking firsthand.”
And he did not hold back! Rob was a great interview. He was sincere and obviously put a lot of thought into his responses. We got some revealing answers such as one of the main reasons he wanted to film Twilight. He was also equally endearing when he made a joke of himself unintentionally. When time came for our question, we were glad that we could come up with something different that actually stumped him for a few seconds.

TA: Hi Rob, this is Kara from TwilightersAnonymous.com. Thank you for taking the time to answer our question.TA: We were wondering since you prepared so much for Twilight by going to Oregon ahead of shooting, how will you prepare for New Moon since it’s so much darker and more emotional?
ROB: I think, I’m not entirely sure yet, I started having original ideas about it, but it’s annoying not knowing when it would start shooting but I don’t really know, but because I already did Twilight, there’s def an element on the character that’s still inside you and I def had planned to do at least NM and Eclipse. I kind of had an idea. A lot of things I couldn’t do in Twilight I can do in NM. I think his image will be different.
TA: Do you think it will be easier to prepare for New Moon since you’ve already been so connected to the character of Edward?
ROB: I hope not because anything easy would be boring. I’ve been treating it like it was a completely separate thing anyway. He’s so different because so much of his façade cracks and is anemic so he’s a very original character in my opinion.

Wow, he really does understand the character. He’s completley right, Edwards cool incontrol facade does crack completley in New Moon. New Moon Edward will be different and I bet Rob will enjoy playing it very much! It’s my favorite part of New moon, their reunion in Voltera. Rob seems like such a deep thinker, he thinks everything through. I looooove his voice and accent! Purr purr!
I was able to download the file and just heard it - so had to come back and just say that Kara did a great job! And congrats to TA for getting chosen - it was exciting to hear about this!! Great questions as well.
did n e one else notice on how annoyed he got wen the girls asked him how he was…i was really paying attention to his tone of voice and he got annoyed at those questions….btw..the whole interview was aaawwweeessssooomeeeeeee!!!thx lots…

Tatiana: I don’t think he was annoyed. Number one the guy must be EXHAUSTED from all this prmoting of the movie. Plus, he’s got like 20 something people asking him, “How are you?” at the same time. The man ain’t going to change his mind of how he’s doing, lol. Not to start anything but I can understand where he’s coming from. Although, I would’ve loved hear him say just once, “I’m exhausted, actually.”
Wow, phenomenal interview! I loved hearing Rob’s take on all the questions, and those questions were some thought-provoking ones! Awwww, he said he only has 2 friends…I’m sure that can’t be true. Maybe just 2 very close friends, and the rest are only acquaintances. I want to be part of his bff club!
And I’m AMAZED he gave such detailed answers after doing so many promtional appearances and interviews! Great question, Dawn! Bring on New Moon and Eclipse!!!!!!!!!

everytime one of the interviewers asks him “how are you?”, every single time he says “I’m alright thanks”
lol go back and listen. almost EVERY single time, he responds like that…

I think the interview went great!! There were so many good questions & Rob is such a great Edward!! He totally understands him & feels him not only as a vampire but he looks to from before he was a vampire. Poor guy he sounds so exhausted…it’s awsome how he can still laugh at himself though. Now I love Rob even more!!! lol

That was great. I was glad that so many sites asked questions, especially Caleb Nation from Twilightguy. Other than your site, I like Caleb’s next…stemmed from his defense of Stephenie with all the Midnight Sun stuff.
You did a great job with the interview. I wish you could have asked more questions, because I liked yours more. It seemed like a couple of the questions were asked by giddy teenagers…I’m glad you kept your composure.

Sorry to be a day late (my oldest had way too much homework lastnight) I have to tell Kara - Way to go - Hope you put the recording in your own book of achievements. Of course I had to listen to the whole recording, I think I could listen to him read the phone book and it would be fantastic (do you think he’d do it?). This is SO much better than watching the news media try to predict who our next PREZ is. I voted for Edward today, how bout you? JK, Sadly there was no option for Vampire next to Republican or Democrat. He really could do a better job than either one of them and their VP’s. Bella would make a great First Lady don’t ya think? Ooooh! Call Steph, this may be a great next book. Edward in the White House and Jacob as VP? Sorry.. oh yeah, the interview…..
I agree with some of the other postings, the man has to be tired. He was just in Mexico and then New York? And I too would have really appreciated him being honest about that grueling schedule. It just makes him more connectable. Private Jet, First Class or Minivan - I hate to travel and I’ve never been past DC - I can’t even fathom different time zones or continents. I know, I know…… it goes with the job.
HAHAHAAHAH he just went in trying to look as pretty as he could. He was very careful about how that would come across. XD

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to give us the opp to listen. I just want him to answer questions about him and Kristen. I would love it if they like seeing each other…is he dating anyone I know she is but they are both so young to stop exploring the idea of other people….again, thank you
