TWILIGHT ON SPIKE’S “SCREAM 2008 AWARDS”

Christina and Tina have informed us that there will be a small Twilight feature with brand new footage from the movie on Spike’s “Scream 2008 Awards” which is the first and only event honoring the best in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror. The show airs on Spike on Tuesday, October 21st at 9pm.

The event took place in Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and MarketWatch.com did a write-up of the awards. Here is a small bit where they mention Twilight:

Spike TV also debuted world premiere and exclusive never-before-seen footage from several highly anticipated theatrical releases including “Watchmen,” “Friday The 13th” and “Twilight.” “Twilight,” directed by Catherine Hardwicke and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Cam Gigandet comes to theaters November 21st.

Exclusive never-before-seen footage? *Gasp* I will be watching this for sure. I wonder what part of the movie they’ll choose to show at the awards. I’m guessing it’ll be a scene that’s a little more action-oriented.

    so ive watched this awards show before about 5 months after it aired (thats always the case in Australia..) and it seemed pretty hardcore..i mean will Twilight have a good reception there?? just saying..its not a typical vampire movie?? maybe im wrong..i dunno…just when ive watched it the crowd is very vocal about what they like and what they dont..

    BUT..does that mean some cast will go?? maybe present this “never before seen footage”? ive got my fingers crossed. i want more cast! although its disappointing kristen and ashley are shooting other movies atm. id love if rob, cam and kellan were going. those men are incredibly good looking.

    I went to the taping last night and it was so fun! I was surprised by the fairly weak response when Cam Gigandet came out to premiere the footage. I expected Twilight fans to shake the earth with their cheering.

    There wasn’t much more footage. Mostly more of the fight seen in the ballet studio. It was still amazing. I am so excited for the movie.

    i thought that would be the case abbi. that awards show is mental (in a good way) but i didnt think that twilight would be their cup of tea. but im glad cam was there to show it off! (out of all the cast he was the right one to present it)
    arghh im so tired of waiting! damn dec 11 release date!
