ACCESS HOLLYWOOD: NIKKI REED TALKS ‘NEW MOON’ AND ‘ECLIPSE’

Access Hollywood caught up with Nikki Reed on the red carpet at the T-Mobile launch for a short interview where she discusses her trip to Italy to hang out with her New Moon costars, when they go back to film for Eclipse, and more:

Whoa, August 17th? That seems so soon! Well, I guess that means all is well on the New Moon front and that the schedule is going ahead as planned. We won’t have a lull in Twilight updates – that’s for sure! I also think it’s great that Nikki is going to Italy to support and hang out with the cast members. She said none of the Cullen siblings will be in the Italy shots, but she must’ve just forgotten about Ashley. Come on, the Porsche scene is pivotal!

What did you think of this interview? Are you surprised to hear such a quick start date for Eclipse or did you expect it?

    Let’s hope she just forgot. I remember several months ago, well before any filming began, Ashley mentioned how excited she was to have the chance to drive a Porsche. I hope that wasn’t eliminated.

    It’s little bits such as this that set my teeth on edge. It’s hard to know what really will be in the film. As we know, no matter what was actually filmed, anything can be cut during editing. A painful thought.

    I expected the date, but only because at Eyecon Peter told us about it. I had dinner with Peter and he informed us they started Eclipse in August! How exciting!!!

    and it does not belong to her.
    Who said she would be allowed on the set anyway?
    Thought it was a closed set.
    And who does she think she is going to bunk with?
    Well that ain’t going to happen.

    Wow, the middle of August for Eclipse,that is coming up close, it will be hard for them to do promo stuff for New Moon. I’m sure Rob won’t mind not being screamed at so much.
    Yeah, maybe Nikki was mistaken( I hope) about no siblings having parts to film in Italy. Ashley was really looking forward to driving that porsche. It’s the small things they left out of Twilight that could have filled in gaps and would have made such a big difference in how things flowed between scenes. Cross fingers…they get it right for New Moon.

    We don’t have to worry about Nikki bunking with you know who. He already has a bunk-mate called Kellen Lutz in Italy.

    Anyone know if they are going to continue filming “Eclipse” in Canada or will they go back to Oregon and Washington? I’d love to visit the set but don’t know where they are going to continue filming. I’ve been to Tuscany a few years ago and passed by Montepulcino, if I only knew then what I know now, I would’ve taken a million more pics of the place because it was so beautiful, but all the towns in Tuscany look the same as Montepulcino and there are so many of them perched up on a picturesque hill. No surprise they are using a different location since all those little towns look the same. Wish I could go back…(sigh)…
