Access Hollywood has a brand new interview with Peter Facinelli where he talks about wanting to go to Italy, the differences between Catherine Hardwicke and Chris Weitz and speculation to what the fan reaction will be to the birthday party scene:

I love this interview with Peter! He is so fun to listen to. His description of the birthday party scene got me so excited for New Moon. I also like how positive he is about Chris Weitz, Chris sounds like a great guy to work for. How funny that people recognize Peter in sunglasses and a baseball cap, now that they’ve seen the Twilight DVD “30″ times?!

Love it! Peter really does a good job at getting us excited for the birthday seen, mentioning how he and rob have to hold jackson back! He also is really great to listen to, I thought it was kind of funny how he kept saying “team taylor” haha, must be interesting to try and remember its Jacob and Edward not rob and taylor haha

And I loved what Peter said here about being recognized after watching the “Twilight DVD “30″ times”. What? Who’s only watched it a measly 30 times?
I absolutely Love Peter. I didn’t know anything about him until Twilight. He seems so real and down to earth. Love that. and Holy Crap I’m so excited about the movie in November. I keep saying that (sorry) but each new tidbit is like the appetizer to the meal and I’M HUNGRY NOW!! hahaha

i have been a fan of Peter’s since “Can’t Hardly Wait” **showing my age here !!!** I have become a bigger fan since he has been on Twilight..i am soo glad he is finally get the recognitionhe deserves..he is such an awesome actor and in my mind he embodies Carlyle…I am sooo excited about that birthday scene…I think Jackson is just going to steal that scene from everyone…man November cant come soon enough!!!

New Moon sounds so good I’m looking forward to winter. And I hate winter! Peter is great as Carlisle and every time I see new set pics or a new interview, I just get more excited! Don’t know how much my heart can take! Ha Ha
my goodness is it november yet?! i didn’t get to follow all the twilight movie making hype last year, i don’t know how i can keep waiting for new moon! im so excited to see this birthday scene! im so team edward but i have to say im so excited to see jacob and bella develop in new moon! i love how the rest of the cast are getting a lot of recognition, makes me anticipate the movie even more! aggh! i can’t wait til nov 20!!!! i think i’ll have to go see that bandslam movie just to see the trailer!
Oh my goodness I can’t wait to see new moon in november!!! And don’t worry evie I feel the pain of revealing my age I remember peter in can’t hardly wait as mike! My favorite scene is when does the nerd goggles! He is hilarious! And I loved the interview he has a way about him that you can’t help but smile!!

Which will make Eclipse (my personal favorite book) all the better : )= I just can’t wait for them both on DVD…..and BTW,I am Team Switzerland,because I love them both sooooo much,and would never be able to be without either guy,Who could? There would never have been a story without either character,they all are pivitol in this Saga,even Mike :S,,ok , ok….: )

Peter is great, I love seeing him in interviews, does he actually know that there are “Team Carlisle” T-Shirts as well; he only talked about “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob”… Someone should tell him….

I too remember Peter in can’t hardly wait. My name is Amanda so I thought it was the best wjen his character calls her AmanDUUUUH. He’s so great and I too am happy that all the actors are being recognized this time around its a great break for some of their careers.

I really liked this interview. I like Peter, but I don’t remember him from Can’t Hardly Wait. I remember him from the cop show he was in though… Anyhow, I’m excited to hear that there’s only a couple more weeks of filming.
Sometimes I really hate living in Germany! Because we’ll have to wait until January 2010 to see this movie!!! Also it will be translated into German! And the German voices of the characters are just … well, not fitting. My mom won’t let me go to London to watch the movie because of my senior year….
I love interviews done by Peter. He’s funny, calm and really down on earth.
And I love his voice.
