ACCESS HOLLYWOOD: TALK OF FIFTH ‘TWILIGHT’ FILM IS PREMATURE

We brought you an interview from Access Hollywood yesterday with Boo Boo Stewart. Boo Boo mentioned two more movies beyond Eclipse, but today Summit responds to the story:

However, a rep for Summit Entertainment – the studio behind the hit vampire film franchise – has now told Access that BooBoo (who will join the big screen saga as wolfpack member Seth Clearwater in the next installment) was premature in his statements.

Although BooBoo has contract options for additional films after “Eclipse,” there are no guarantees yet that those films will be made.

And while a fourth film in the series is likely since there were four books in the popular Stephanie Meyer’s series, the studio could not confirm “Breaking Dawn” would make it to the big screen just yet.

Well that answers some questions from yesterday. Having an option on a contract is a lot different than having the actual contract for the movie. I hope it does happen though and we get a two-part movie for Breaking Dawn. We just need some confirmation on Breaking Dawn!

    Why the hell are they dragging their feet with Breaking Dawn? Didn’t Rob say in France that their making BD?

    This doesn’t surprise me at all! I think we all know how Summit is by now. They don’t want to promise us anything that they can’t deliver. I think they’re terrified of backlash from us. However, they aren’t stupid; they know what kind of cash cow they have on their hands. Breaking Dawn will make it to the screen; however, we may not see all our favorite stars in it. I think that’s what the problem is. Also, I think people in the movie industry are terrified to try and bring Renesmee to life. It seems like a difficult task but I think they can pull it off! Let’s just wait it out like we’ve been doing…..

    I really hope they do BD! I mean, they HVAE to! If they don’t. . .well, I don’t think that’s fair! Plus, BD has the most Seth! hehe

    i thought they said that they were going to have the stuff in BD but not so much that teen girls would have to leave the theater maybe it could just be like NC-17 if they even rate movies that anymore

    i Dont understand why they just dont confirm Breaking Dawn, New Moon and Eclipse are going to be bigger hits then Twilight was, and Breaking Dawn will Be the icing on the cake! I think they want to wait until after New Moon is out and they see how it does before they comitt to Breaking Dawn. They better make it,i will be very disappointed if they dont!

    Maybe their having trouble booking a few key stars for the last enstallment. Whoever it is I’ll half nelson them until they say “uncle!” Just sign at the dotted line, already. If Victoria can be replaced, so cant someone else…except, Rob, or Kristen, or Taylor, or Ashley, or Kellen, or Jackson, or Peter, or any of them! OME, IM having a melt down here!
