ACCESS HOLLYWOOD: DELETED ‘TWILIGHT’ SCENE - “EDWARD’S BEDROOM SURPRISE”
It’s Monday - the day a ton of you have all been waiting for: another new deleted scene from ‘Twilight’! And not any new deleted scene, I might add. This is the racy kissing scene in Bella’s bedroom that was removed from the movie, which turns out to just be a dream. So without further delay, here is the deleted kissing scene we’ve all been waiting for:

Wow! That’s all I have to say about that clip. I can sort of see why that was taken out of the movie, because it’s a bit hot and heavy. I actually think I prefer the kissing scene that they left in the movie. Either way - this scene is intense!

I’ve actually got to say I’m glad that ‘that’ wasn’t in the movie. What the heck? She just like grabbed his shirt and raped him! I was laughing! There is no way anyone can take that seriously. But still I guess.
As for it not being included in the movie: It WAS a bit racy, but it was just a dream to Bella’s character, so so what? It isn’t like they were naked or anything. To me it should have been taken out because they never ever kiss like that in Twilight. They should have built up all the tension. Sigh. Twilight really isn’t for little kids anyways, so I think they should do what they want.

Firstly, I am very glad that will be in the DVD extras. It makes me really wonder what else there will be??
I suppose if they wanted to build tension up through the movies, this would be one they would cut. But, after Italy, they are definitely into the passion this much. The first night back they were kissing as much as talking. I hope they don’t tiptoe through New Moon.
I actually think they should have left it in, because it was a dream. It shows how strongly Bella is attracted to Edward.

I’m wondering if the Midnight Sun scene will still be included in the DVD. So far I’ve seen the extended scenes and 3 deleted scenes. This leaves only 2 deleted scenes left…

Its not that racy. I think they should have left it in the movie. I think it shows a little aggressiveness on bella’s part, more that she’s a hormonal teenage girl, couldn’t hold back any longer.( can you blame her? the kissing scene in the movie is pretty pg and seemed awkward to me anyway.

I loved the kissing scene in the movie way more than that one. This one was weird, not as hot as it should have been, and not the dreams that she was really having about Edward.
i think this should have been left in the movie because it shows how intense bella’s feelings for edward are. i feel like the final cut of the movie kind of stiffled bella’s feelings from what the book described and was kind of disappointed when i saw the film. based on what the final cut of the film was i understand why they took this out because it would just seem out of place b/c the entire movie they were very careful at not showing too much aggression/obsession b/w those 2.(disappointing)
It was so-so.I like it better not in the movie.But if i was Bella and i woke up to find Edward in my room,i would have done the EXACT same thing.He would be scared of me lol

The deleted scene is a bit of a yawn for me. Doesn’t hold a candle to the kiss in the movie.
Anyone who has read Midnight Sun understands that half the sexy of the movie kiss is the tension and danger of his desire to drink her blood. It is that slight moment of hesitation before their lips touch that makes the scene sizzle. And the building tension as they are consumed by passion? That’s what makes the bedroom scene work.

ummmm *grabs tissues to stop nose bleeding* okay, i’m good. wow, i swear without the deleted scenes the movie gave me a heart attack, now with all these, I might go into cardiac arrest, either that or lose all my blood with these nose bleeds. Makes me wonder about eclipse and breaking dawn.
And I was really hoping for the freakiness of her dream from the book!
I agree, to the answer unnecessary. The scene they left in the movie was much sexier. The careful and slow build up to when Edward moved,ever so gently,to put his lips on Bella’s, so he wouldn’t harm her or loose too much control. As it was, he had to yell at himself to stop.

And when I saw the movie I was wondering what she had been dreaming about to be so confused *lol* But of course it’s true that she can only kiss Edward like that in her dreams… And the anticipation building up before the first kiss is way better!

Personally, I loved it. It was like a shameless peek into Bella’s desire for Edward. Who doesn’t dream of yanking Edward into their bed and raping him!? Honestly. It explains why she was so flustered after she woke up. I really wondered why they didn’t do a dream sequence. All I gotta say is HOOOOOT!!! lol I am so happy that they are having all these extras included with the dvd. SO excited to get my copy! !
Im somewhat glad they left it out, it doesn’t seem to really flow with the movie but I wish they had put in the Blood Typing from the book or atleast where he “tampers with her mind”.
Uh ya i wished it was left in. My friend keeps bugging me about how the only kiss twice in the movie when in the book they kiss about four times.
Actually, while the scene is not perfect as it is (the grabbing of the shirt is a bit too “violent”), a dream scene like that where she expresses all of her desire would have been great. The depth of their mutual desire was not enough in the movie because we barely see him stalking her, and we don’t see her almost stop breathing when he’s around… for example.

It was a pretty good scene. They could have left it in. Personally I liked the “love bite” scene better. I wish they had put that in the movie!

I thought it was pretty good tbh. They should have left it in the movie cause i was like ‘Omg, is he actually there?’ but in a way if they had, people might have been a bit like ‘WOAH.’ Its still a good deleted scene.

Although this was a very good scene (although not in the book!) it wouldn’t have happened. There’s no way that Edward would have allowed her to pull him like that (her proximity would have alarmed him) and he couldn’t have kissed her like that - reflect on his need to get more than 10 feet away in the meadow (book) or in her bedroom (movie). Nice bit of Hollywood but not realistic.

I think that would be good sceene to leave in the movie. After all it’s clearly bella’s dream and shows her obsessive (in good way?) love for him already. In original she just sees him and then he disappeares in the nick of time, we don’t know, what she was dreaming about exactly.
I agree with marta, edward would never react like that, you can see, that it was just bella’s dream. I wouldn’t mind to have similiar dream, then turned into reality, rob is gorgeous

OMG!!! That love seen in the bedroomwas H-O-T Ithink they made a serious mistake . That scene so should have been in the movie it makes it look like Bella actually has an agressive side rather than her allways looking like the shy and vulnerable one , plus that scene in the movie makes Edward look like he’s not trying hard as he said he was to “protect” Bella from himself.

I think it is a shame that the deleted scenes got cut. I saw the movie before reading the books and then I bought & watched the movie again. I feel that there was some confusion without those scenes; that you didn’t get a full gist of what was trying to be said (like it was explained in the book). Plus there was some pivotal lines that were cut that we all fell in love with in the book.

I love the scene for Bella, but think it was cut from the movie for a good reason. I do wish there had been the one scene where Edward has to “modify” Bella’s memory. That still makes my eyes cross. That vampire and his cold breath and nose and murmuring kisses… what do Mormons get up to, guys? I mean, Orson Scott Card can get hot and heavy, too, but Stephanie is over the top. No wonder they had to cut back to just one wife if Stephanie is any example. More than one of her kind would kill a man in a year or two!
