ACTING AUDITIONS: ECLIPSE MOVIE AUDITIONS

I’m excited about the Eclipse casting but I’m also worried because like I heard in the podcast I also believe Summit is getting lazy in the casting process. I’m wondering about the filming of Breaking Dawn, yes some didn’t like it but its going to be kind of tough filming it because I have to say some scenes are just plain weird and funny. I would like to see brought to the big screen the entire wedding and nessie’s birth but still who will play nessie???

NOOOOOOO you have got to be kidding me. Breaking Dawn was plain and simple Steph’s wet dream written into fan fic. Its wierd, its horribly written, its stupid. I don’t consider it a Twilight Novel because its such a disgrace. If it becomes a movie, not only will it be as horrible as the book but its a waste of time because me, and i know a bunch of other twi-hards, are not going to see it. Film Eclipse. That is how the series should end.

I cannot understand how some people who claim to be Twihards would not want to see Breaking Dawn come to the big screen as well as the others. Breaking Dawn did have some odd elements to it but, overall, it was what so many readers were searching and waiting for! I think there should be more… I don’t feel like the saga has ended… I’m hoping it’s just on a much-deserved hiatus! Stephenie, if you must… wait the six years for Nessie to “grow up” then write more for us!!! Please, I’m begging you!

I’m excited to hear about the planning for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn..although I am sure I am not the only twilighter that is concerned about how they are going to create Renesmee. I am not a special effects expert, but how can they create a believable character without it turning “Jar Jar Binks-y”?? I am hopeful that they can make it happen – maybe instead of creating an effect when she’s actually speaking out loud, they just voice over her speaking inside her head…OMG, have you all seen those commericials where that baby is sitting in his high chair and talking about insurance? weird!?

I’m glad about Breaking Dawn possibly being made into a movie since I feel that Eclipse really wouldn’t be a satisfactory ending to the series onscreen. However since the book is so long they will probably have to cut a lot to fit the screenplay and personally I’m okay with that as long as they keep the Jacob/Rosalie banter. Wheeeh!

Breaking Dawn production will begin next year??? Uhm…they haven’t even started filming New Moon yet, yet alone Eclipse. So, how is Breaking Dawn going to start in early 2010?!?!? That would be a year from now!

I think it’s GREAT! I will definitely go to see the movie!!!!

I’m pumped to see breaking dawn to become a movie its a happy ending maybe i’m just a sucker for those but i loved the last book maybe because i’m married and a mom i could understand everything they went thru and i would love to have my daughter to try out for a role in the movies but she will be kinda young and has blue eyes so she is out for Nessie but i think they will put it together well and still keep it pg 13 you would be surprised at whats in some pg 13 movies anymore

I agree with kijo921, I don’t understand why some people try to dismiss Breaking Dawn. Stephenie did such a great job with it. Anyways, I wonder how it’ll go, so I can’t wait for all three of the movies.

I’m estatic about Breaking Dawn…this was my favorite aside from Twilight (my favs in order are Breaking Dawn, Twilight, Eclipse and New Moon with Twilight and Eclipse being very tied for second favorite)..Anyway I digress!!!! I am super excited that I will soo have a DVD series of the Twilight Saga to add to my collection of the book series!!!!!

I’m very excited to hear about Breaking Dawn made in to a movie! And, I have to say, I don’t understand people that didn’t like the book or would not want to see it on the big screen. I mean, I know there are some odd elements in it, but let’s face it, it’s a fantasy book, what were you expecting?! How can you wanna miss seeing Bella&Edward’s wedding, their honeymoon and more important, Bella becoming a vampire or the scene where Edward finally hears her thoughts (their wishes throughout whole Twilight saga!)? Yeah, I wanna see this movie!

I’m with kijo921 on this one. Breaking Dawn brought their relationship full circle and even if Stephenie doesn’t write another installment, there is some closure at least. But that doesn’t mean I won’t stop hoping for a fifth book!

I am not surprised that they are securing the rights to Breaking Dawn…for a couple reasons. First, I’m sure that they want to secure them so that no one else will. This way they ensure that they can maintain the integrity of the film series even if they have no intention of actually making the film. That being said, I do hope that they make the film, if not just to satisfy my curiousity of “can it be done?”. Second, we know that Rob and Kristen are signed on to do the trilogy…what about Breaking Dawn? It would be such a shame to have different actors portray these characters that we have come to love, but I wouldn’t blame Rob and Kristen if they wanted to move on. I think I’ll be excited once details for Breaking Dawn are released…particularly casting.

I really hope they do make Breaking Dawn into a film to complete the saga. Just ending it at Eclipse won’t do it justice. Many fans do not like BD, that this there opinion. I would like to see Bella & Edward get married…the honeymoon…the pregnancy…birth and the rest of the story on screen. However, is CGI ready to cope with the special needs of BD? Rob & Kristen haven’t signed on for BD. Rob hasn’t done any new projects since committing to Twilight.

I think that they should split Breaking Dawn into two parts as there is no way that they can fit it all into a 2 hour film- and make it decent, i think they should stop it when it reaches the part after Nessie is born. You know, kind of leave it on a cliff hanger for people who haven’t read the book and then make the second film about the Volturi. I recon that would work better, or they shouldn’t bother making it at all.

I think it’s great that Breaking Dawn is going to be made. Since the book is so long, and there is so much detail, it almost seems like they should make it into two movies, or, since they were thinking of combining BD and Eclipse into one and stopping at three movies the should combine BD and Eclipse into three movies. Just a thought. I’d watch them. I think the die hard Twilight fans (which there are plenty) wouldn’t mind seeing a 2.5-3 hour movie, just as the Lord of the Rings were. I wish Twilight the movie would have been just a bit longer. They could have fit in more of the courtship between Bella and Edward instead of a quick montage.

i wonder if Stephanie will complete writing Midnight Sun, even though it got leaked? It would be interesting to possibly see the Twilight Saga entirely from Edward’s point of view, and another possible book once Nessie is ‘grown up’

For now, i’ll just build up my excitement for Jacob Black and his wolves in New Moon.

i agree with twilight_momma_84 that BD should be split into more than one film. i say three films because it is three books in one. i agree that there are some hard-to-capture aspects in BD but they are important and in my opinion should not be left out. i think that BD should be made into film otherwise there wont be a propper ending to the film saga.

i am very happy about eclipse being made into a movie because i believe that +new moon were my personal favourites, they both made me cry + laugh (yes i am very sensative, even to books.) and i can not wait to see how they are both brought to the screens, hopefully not too much of the books cut out, because i am sure a lot of the true twilighters will stay for 3 hours if needed just to see the film done right.

i am only 14 but i can not wait to see all of the films and see my favourite saga brought to life. i hope they keep all the cast the same and i hope they take care in these movies. the books will always be better in my eyes but i love the movies aswell.

I am a huge twilight fan too,and well I think they should make breaking dawn a movie. I agree with a lot of people writing comments except the haters, because anyone who hates the 4th book is a twilight saga hater. twilight was a great movie and I hope the rest are just as great. Also I just wanna say my fav books in order. first is twilight, breaking dawn, eclipse, and then new moon. new moon i don’t like very much. why? well, and i’m sure you’ll all agree with me, i don’t like it because edward isn’t in it except for in the beginning and in the end. the only people that are in it the whole time is bella and jacob. i don’t like jacob because he tries to steal bella. Oh but i like jacob because he’s funny,and it was funny when bella found out they nick-named renesme, nessie, after the lockness monster. I just wanna say before i’m done is that i think if Renesme was older like about 11 like me i’d be perfect for her. that’s because i have really brown curly hair, rosy cheeks and i could wear colored contacts because mine are brown not the color of renesme’s. It is so one of the best books I have ever read and it is sooo not a disgrace!!! She wrote it very well and I think it contributes a great deal of the plot because it contains answers to many questions that were not answered in the previous books. I am so exited to see it be made into a motion picture and anyone who does not like it or does not think itis well written is not a true Twilight fan.

i think it’s great that they are coming out with Breaking Dawn, but i just hope that they dont mess it up. i know my picture of breking dawn want be exactly on the screen but i want it to be very close.

the movie “Breaking dawn”(if made) for me personally i think it should separated into at least 2 or 3 different films because if its only 1 i am really positive taht it wont be that good since they will have to leave out a lot of important event is because the 4th book is the longest in the saga…and definitly people will be thrilled to see everything acomplish from the books into a movie..also we all want to read the saga again(all) from Edwards perspective i think it was really interested more than bella’s side.

I think filming “Breaking Dawn” would be cool!! We need all of the books in there(like “Harry Potter”). If they are filming “New Moon” and “Eclipse”, why would you stop right there? Just film them all! Also,(this is totally changing the subject) I want to be in Eclipse!! I want to play Bree or someone(even an Extra)! Its my life long dream to become an actress and if I start as an Extra or a small part, then I can achieve it! I don’t know about you guys but It’s a bit too late to audition, if you’re from Ukraine then don’t bother. They need Italian with Italian accent and could speak both english and Italiano. Mama mia! And about those doubts for breaking dawn, well don’t judge it yet. They haven’t even started filming it yet. And If you really want to be in the movie, my advice is to send your photo or two and resume to summit enterprise or whatever it’s called thats making the movie. GOOGLE IT PEOPLE JEEZE! IF NOT YAHOO IT!

I wish that they would go to more places for auditioning instead of just vancouver, l.a and washington. I live in Edmonton and cannot afford to fly to any of those places but I think I would be a great actress. Oh well, I guess I cant change that but I guess it would be “more fair”

I personally cannot wait for all the movies. The only thing i dont like is the fact that producers tend to deviate away from the plot a little. Like in some of the scenes in the movie twilight, they had the right dialogue but it was placed into the wrong setting. For someone who has read the books it becomes a little bit frustrating. I might audition for the movie. I think it would be amazing. I love Stephanie meyers work.

I have to say i would be very DISSAPOINTED if they didn’t make the fourth book into a movie it is absoluty the best with everything that has to happen all of the books are very exciting I have read them at least four times each back to back and Im planning on reading them again this week I can hardly wait for the movies to come out and only hope that they show more of whats in the books the reliease dates are great because just when you are comming down from one the next one gets your attention.

Maybe some people should try re-readding the fourth book they may see things a little diffrently and understand what happens a little better.

I disagree with anyone who thinks an all ready actress can play the role of Leah. HELLO… summit wants a new face other wise it wouldnt be open to the public to audition…DUH… even a stupid person could have figured that out. Anyway im Tori hate to be so blunt but its true. I just auditioned for Leah too. Im an all blood native american, with short dark hair like Leah,( hint- Leah has short hair all the werewolves do except Jake DUH! ),i also have very dark skin because im native american, and i look native american. I mean if your gonna play the part you need to look the part.

I agree that Breaking Dawn was the worst of the books and pretty much justa kind of a fantasy ending- not realistic in regards to the story development. They completely altered Bellas character and made her something she wasn’t- she lost all her personal attributes that made her a unique character. It was way over the top and should have been eased into with at least one more book between Eclipse and the ending of Breaking Dawn. That being said, I still loved it in a way, of course, and would rather have it then nothing. I am excited for it to be made into a movie but also afraid it will have to move even faster then the book, which was already way too fast-paced, and will therefore appear super corny and dumb on screen.

I wish Stephenie would re-write an alternate ending instead of Breaking Dawn! That would be awesome. Sorry to rant, but I feel like she just rushed everything into one book to finish it up when really she could have taken time to develop a so much more gradual and amazing few books. I know thats tons of work and a lot to ask, but it would have been awesome!

I really want a part in Eclipse, I’ve given this alot of thought because the whole “bitalian” of vampires sounds exiting.

I would love to be in one of the breaking dawn movies (that is if they split it into 3 parts like they think). I think I could adapt to any part I was cast. I wish i wasn;t so young because I would be a killer Carmen! But im sure I could find a part somewhere between Volturi, and extras. I could even play a grown up Renesmee if anything like that came out. I just love taylor. But anyways….. I just hope that they make the movie as close to the book as possible despite the sex and bloody birth scene. I think they should definitely make the sex scenes as hot as possible with-out going R. As long as there aren’t any “body parts” showing i don’t think it should be considered R.

The Twilight Books where a presant from my sister, I was convinced that I’d hate them, because I loved the movie and being far too buisy to read them, well wasn’t I wrong I read all four books in two weeks, after the first couple of pages I could not put it down, my life stopped, I ignored everyone in my life and fell madly in love with Edward as did all the women I know, thank you Stephanie for bringing back all the lustful feelings that have been dead for twenty years. I remember what it felf like all those years ago, I’m 39 and I can say with all honesty that I had an Edward in my life along time ago. Thanks for the memories and thank you god for Rob Pattinson. We older ladies are waiting with bated breath for all the movies and Edwards story to come out.

Hi i am 11 years old i have brown  straight hair with an auburn streak in it. I love to act my sister is a singer so i am uset to being around known people i would like to do any movies with any part.

I think Kamryn is a very good actress coming from a close friend i have seen her in dance to choirus she is very intelligent getting into the honors society.

Alex is an awsome person she is loyal and beautiful inside and out coming from her best friend i believe she will do a great job with any part especialy with me to balance her out.

Yeah, I auditioned for this movie and got a part. It was pretty fun working with the cast members (I was only working as a newborn vampire, not a big role) but they couldn’t sign any autographs because of rules that they couldn’t be distracted from their work.
