Alex Meraz was working hard promoting New Moon yesterday on the Rachael Ray Show. Check out the video below:
Alex, who plays the werewolf Paul in the new movie, explains that it was almost serendipitous that he got the role. “Everything was just aligned,” he says. “It was on my birthday when I went to audition. It was on January 10th and that was the biggest full moon of the year. And then I had these hawks that were always circling around me within the two weeks that I was waiting to get word!”Alex tells Rachael that he’s grateful to be part of such a successful series, and that his wife Kim and 19-month old son Somak help keep him grounded. In fact, he admits that his wife is a big fan of Rachael’s. “So she screamed louder about me being on this show than me getting Twilight!” Alex shares.
