AMAZON.CO.UK: TWILIGHT DVD RELEASE DATE

According to Amazon.co.uk, the ‘Twilight’ 2 Disc Special Edition DVD will be released on April 6th, 2009. It is now available for to pre-order, and has a price of £19.09. On a little sidenote, the DVD is also making it’s way up the best sellers list on Amazon.co.uk! It’s currently listed at #21, and sure to climb the list!

This news is very cool! It’s not that long after the US date, so hopefully UKers will be happy with the date. And #21 on the DVD best sellers, already? I’m not in the least bit surprised.

    Yeah im really happy because i heard the release date was going to be the start of May here in the UK, so im over the moon!
    Im going to pre-order in a bit… ah i cant wait till the DVD shall be mine yay!

    Of course the USA would get the DVD first,
    I was a bit peeved that they had an earlier realise date, and that the UK’s wan’t announced yet.
    But I’m happy I have a constructive date to look forward to now!
    I think I may pre-order mine or go out and get it on the day, which will be a thursadyy :)

    I am surprised that they did not include a topical documentary on the cult of teenage vampires which is a real phenomenon across the country. Maybe they’ll save it for the 3 disc edition.

    I’m really excited about the release, but at the same time I wish we got it at the same time as the US, my birthday is march 28th so if we got it at the same time as the US then it would be perfect. I also prefer the cover of the US version but I still like the UK cover.

    This might sound ready stupid but I have just notice that the front cover doesn’t say 2 disc special edition where as both the american and the austrailian both do.

    Amazon.com is a mailing business – so why would there be different dates depending on the address of the buyer????
