ASK ALICE: BLONDE OR BRUNETTE?
We all know that Edward prefers brunettes and, I for one, am proud to be one. Sorry, blondes. You already have more fun, the least you can do is give us brunettes Edward. āŗ But since we no longer live in 1918, we actually have the option to be either blonde or brunette…and this goes for the gentlemen as well. So what shall it be?
With the technology and chemicals available to us today, all of us can be blondes, brunettes, red heads, or even rainbow!! This helps even movie makers cast the perfect actors to play the characters that we know and love. No longer are they bound to the laws of nature when bleach and dye can transform the palest blondes to the richest browns and vice versa without the use of an unsightly wig. The big question though is: does it suit the person?
Several of the Twilight cast members drastically changed their hair color to conform to our beloved Cullens, and on this weekās Ask Alice, we thought it would be fun to see which actors you think underwent an improvement or a major fashion no-no. Hereās your chance to let us know.
First off, we have Peter Facinelli who bleached his dark brown locks to be the dashing blond, Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Who would you want to play doctor with: Peter or Carlisle?
Next, we have Nikki Reed who also said goodbye to her luscious brown hair for platinum bombshell Rosalie Hale. Glamorous do or glamorous donāt?
Letās not forget blond hottie Kellan Lutz who shaved off his blond curls for short, hunky and dark haired Emmett Cullen (I am aware that in the book Emmett had dark curls, but in the movie it was short.). Would you miss running your hands through his hair?
Or what about Jackson Rathbone vs. Jasper Hale? Talk about difference. Could he soothe your nerves with brown or blond hair?
And although Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart didnāt go through a drastic change for Twilight, it doesnāt mean they havenāt had their fun with bleach and dye. Which color do you prefer? Tell us what you think.

oh lord…when Dr Cullen burst through the hospital door in Twilight I think I gasped. (I’d never seen Peter before). I was definitely affected by Dr Cullen. Yes, Peter au natural is such a cutie. But I think I’d rather play doctor with Carlisle.
Nikki: Defintely glamorous don’t. She’s so much prettier brunette.
Kellan: Curls and natural please.
Jackson: This boy works either way. Wow, what a doll.
Kristen: She can wear a grocery bag and make it look gorgeous. I truly love this girl and think she’s pretty either way. In the light hair picture she was younger. She’s more glamorous the older she gets.
Rob: Blonde, brunette, bald. Any and all.
Can’t wait to see comanche boy. I hope the hair is loooong.

Brunette all the way.. all of them look better like that.. nikki is an awful blonde.. kristen.. just ew.. peter looks younger with the dark hair.. jackson looks NORMAL.. because like blonde and that curly hair let’s be honest, that looks fake.. robert he does look amazing either way but still prefer brunette.. and kellan.. brunette also xD hahaha..

Nikki ā brunette- I think I was the only one that did not notice she had a blonde wig in Twilight.

Jackson- I liked his hair in Twilight, any color , but please no more Mohawk, ok Jackson.
Kristen- brunette but that photo where she is lighter is nice ,too.
Rob, oh Rob ā I donāt mind what color hair he has or what length his hair is, washed or unwashed , he can pull off any look and still be beautiful.

Nikki Reed- Brunette is the better choice but! I would’nt kick her out of bed for having it blonde
Kellan Lutz- I am not picky I would take him both ways. They both and very flattering.
Jackson Rathbone- Yeah I would take him both ways as well though I do dig the Jasper curls
Kristin Stewart- She looks pretty blonde But I love the Darker hair on her.

All the cast look just fine,but for Kristen ALWAYS a brunette! Her eyes look “gone” with blonde hair and black(I understand for the role)but it’s alittle harsh.
Btw,Nikki Reed didn’twear a wig in Twilight,she spent 36 hours in makeup to achieve this look and frankly I liked it better than her reg hair(just my opinion).
Honestly, I think they all look better with dark hair…but hey, I’m biased!
