ASK ALICE: KOZY KNITS
In light of inspiration from a recent photo shoot with some of our favorite vamps and Winter coming down our block, I bring to you the best staple for the coming season.

This season’s classic knit takes on a whole new approach with varying ways to enjoy the comfy look. Have no fear, you won’t have to refer to refer the sweater that your grandmother or mother knit for you last Christmas.
Now when someone thinks of knits they automatically think of the regular sweater and that that is what they’d have to wear. It’s the common misconception being that there’s so many kinds of knitted things out there that can suit everyone. And to be honest, the knitted sweater isn’t as popular as it once was a blue moon ago. It’s mostly seen on guys since there are only so many knit options they have. For the gals the most popular look right now is the cardigan style as well as the coat since layering is such a trend. My ultimate favorite is the sweater dress. There’s a bunch of cuts for this one: Turtle neck, cowl neck, V-neck, or a simple crew cut. The colors and patterns for this style are really endless. I’d say don’t be afraid to use a vibrant hue but if you want to stay within your comfort zone of gray or black then that’s fine too since the textures are so beautiful.
The accessory knit is another way to pay homage to the classic fabric. There are so many funky hats around so go to your favorite store and have a blast trying a bunch of them on. Of course there are always the mittens and scarves you can get but be different and try the arm warmers. It’s such a spin-off from the traditional glove that you’ll be sure to stand out and make quite the fashion statement.
