TA TALKS BACK: ARE WE SPENDING TOO MUCH ON TWILIGHT???

As for me, ive spent way over 500 bucks on Twilight stuff. Im proud of it;) i have the dvd, bracelets, various jewlery, posters, magazines, shirts, jewlrly boxes, and anything you can think of. Yes, i am a freak.

haha, i have spent however much the directors notebook cost me and thats all. The dvd isnt out in australia yet SOON!!

You make a REALLY good point. I’m a stay at home mom, and I was rather annoyed with the fact I didn’t know there was a 3 disc special edition. I can only afford ONE purchase of the movie (As much as I love Twilight, my child comes first.) I got all the books, and am planning on getting the supplement books, and also got the soundtrack. If I could I would spend much much more on my ‘obsessions’ as it were, but as a wise friend once said “It’s all about priorities”

I bought the Target 3 disc and the Borders one.. the thought of just trading the bonus stuff occured to me, but I’d have felt bad not buying both lol so i got both. to me, the 2 disc is pointless to buy because it cost more than the Target 3 disc one did and has nothing extra lol

Well I bought the 3-disc from Target. I originally did not have Twilight the book (borrowed from a sorority sister) so I purchased all four books (I was going through them like it was a magazine). Then I bought the CD, two shirts and a pillow case.

This is the MOST i have spent on one movie, but I am proud of it.

i thought all these different sets were rediculous too. i knew i def wanted the borders exclusive..and im glad i did..bc the cards it came with are beautiful. and i also wanted the target exclusive bc i wanted the itunes. so what i did, was ordered my borders, then on release morning, i went down to target, got theirs, opened it and go my free itunes codes and then just sold it on ebay as an opened item with no itunes bonus..i knew someone would want it. and wouldnt u know, i sold it for more than i paid. lol. felt bad but hey, they just kept bidding lol. paid $18 sold it for $26. but im in no means up..ive spent a lot on posters, mags, shirts, jewelry, umbrella, lunch box, blanket, i even had to have the band aids..cant wait to fall down and get a boo boo. lol

very interesting article here. I am a very practical person and I have bought all 4 books, the first book I have 2 copies of lol. Just in case I need to let someone borrow a copy. I have bought 3 or 4 more copies of the first book just to get ppl hooked! Hehe I bought two posters, the cheapest I could find and spent more on the frames which shocked me! Didnt like the soundtrack at all, so I didnt even bother buying that. I am a jigsaw puzzle nut, so I bought that and I will frame it once I get it done and I bought the Borders DVD. that is all in my Twilight purchases, oh no wait I also have a Tshirt. haha I would like to have a keychain and a TA coffee mug. That is about it. I thought about getting the target dvd but decided against it since there is no Solly on it. HAHA I just need one DVD and I think it is sad that they are marketing so much to sell more more more. Talk about greedy. I went to see Twilight in the movies twice and will only see New Moon once considering Solly wont be in it. SO yeah that is my Twilight collection. Oh and I am still waiting on my CDs from Midnight Sun! Cannot wait to get those!

.., oh yes.. i have spent way too much on twilight..wait…wait…who cares…lol.. i love this saga and so far…i have purchased 6 copies of the movie( two i gave away ), two sets of the books, one i gave way, and hundreds and huundreds if not thousands of dollars on twilight items…hot topic, ebay, amazon and borders love mne… i didn’t spend this much on harry potter….lol…yes i am totally addicted to the twilight saga…. ;o)

I have spent so much money on twilight stuff i have 10 tops, 20 posters more then on of the same!, 3 edward dolls ,And i got a new twilight saga (my other boke),2 bella dolls and i have 2 of the twilight movie

Well I had seen the movie in the theaters 75 times so I had already spent a ton on the movie, but then I bought all the stuff at Hot Topic, Walmart and anything else I see. Do I have the money, probably not. But my kids have not gone hungry, bills are all paid so it doesnt matter. And that was a good idea about buying and then reselling it on ebay. I had bought the 2 disc at walmart for 26 and really want the Target edition, Is it really worth getting? We really need to stop buying Twilight merchandise before we have no money for New Moon stuff. HEHEHEHEHE

well, i think people are just talking now cus twilight is what´s hot but they would do the same if it was star wars of lord of the rings..
i think if you are a collector you will have to lear that you can not have ALL THE THINGS that you would like, but i think there is nothing wrong with getting just the right amount of things..

specially if they involve twilight! heehee

Yes, like any “over-the-top” collector, I have spent way too much on Twilight related merchandise! With three daughters who love it and myself, we all have the buttons, bracelets, t-shirts, lunchboxes, throws, posters, etc. etc. etc….. well, you get my point! We also have 4 copies of the DVD! Yeah, we’ve probably spent too much on this stuff, but if it wasn’t Twilight, it would be something else! Hopefully, someday this stuff will be worth millions!! HA HA HA!!!!

my parents wudnt let me get every single edition of the movie, and i cant afford all of them by myself. they shud make 1 edition with EVERYTHING on it!

Definitely haven’t spent much on twilight the movie merch. i mean i have the soundtrack, dvd, and a poster(Jacob of course!) but me.. iam waiting for new moon. cant wait for those (shirtless i hop!!

i know i am. my moms not paying for anything Twilight anymore…i had to save up my own money && i got a job =/
