TA TALKS BACK: FAN VISITS NEW MOON SET AS AN EXTRA
TA forum member tutor_girl 22 visits the New Moon set as an extra and shares her story!
FIRST DAYWe had to get to the school for 7am and I walk on to the set and Kristen Steward is standing there so I said hi and she said hi back nothing huge but still exciting! I redeemed myself for last time when I said nothing haha. Then we went to the cafeteria to film stuff and I just hung out behind the curtain because apparently they didn’t need me and I turn around and Stephenie Meyer is there! That was exciting I didn’t talk to her though because I didn’t want to interrupt her while she was doing stuff. So we spent all day filming this one scene where I think I like walk by in the background you probably won’t even see me. Then the beat (A local radio station) showed up and we had to board up all the windows while they were escorted out lol. And so we kept filming after they left because they have to do it from like 800 different angles lol. Then we went back to holding where we changed to our second costume and went back to the cafeteria and I got to sit right behind Kristen in the cafeteria for that scene. She also carries her iPod EVERYWHERE I don’t think I saw her once without it. Every time we walked to set there were huge crowds outside the gates and every time we would walk by they would scream and take pictures it was so funny.
