TA TALKS BACK: THE NEGATIVITY SURROUNDING THE NEW MOON MOVIE TRAILER

I agree with you 99.9% HollyJo123.I also missed the Penguins game too. My only complaint was that the Wolf did look a bit cartoonish and that his legs weren’t the same color as the rest of his fur. But like you said, they just got done filming, and I sure that Chris will tweak little things here and there to make everyone happy.

I loved the trailer and I know lots of us THE FANS loved it too..
I was impresed by the high quality of the vid and the background sound/music or whatever it is + Birthday scene! (that was a plus)
I can only complain about one thing: too short, but enough for my NM dosis and the desperate waiting…
The people being negative are really just the people that didnt even read the book or just simply complain about everything! Forget about them… Negative comments surrounded Twilight and look how it turned out, the mtv awards was all about Twilight!! xD

Damn Straight. I absolutly loved the trailer, i think i didnt breathe the whole time it was playing and i cannot WAIT til november!!!
I think the trailer was spot on. how can there be too much of edward? its her birthday then he says cya later. hah i must say though your comment about jacob made me giggle.
btw there will be way more to new moon than just what was in the trailer. did you really want them to show you all the good bits? i think not!.

..it was wonderful..i loved it…if you can find stills of the video..look at them…one of the shots shows jacob half man and half wolf.. you can’t see the transformation in the video but you can in the stills…they did a great job…this is going to be one terrific movie… ;o) blue

Yeah i loved it too, i agree the wolf did look a bit fake but i think (hope) they’ll fix that up before november. What else, hmm i thought the paper cut scene was a bit dramatic, in my head she didn’t chuck the present away haha but i guess it’s better for the movie like that, and everyone imagines it differently anyway. I liked the bit at the start and the bit with laurent, and i thought robert was really good in the break up scene. You could tell with the scene with jacob and bella that it had been switched around, jake has no shirt on and then it’s on again, and bella’s clothes are different after jake turns into a wolf. Haha but i’m being way too picky, i thought it was great and I’m so excited for November!

I thought the trailer was amazing if everyone remembers the first trailer to Twilight included scenes that were never in the movie. Not to mention when did everyone become Spielbergs???? If you pick apart every movie ever made you will see they are all wrong in some way, you aren’t supposed to pick it apart you are supposed to go to a movie especially one made from a book with an open mind and enjoy it, if you are only going to sit and pick it apart or say well that didn’t happen like that well maybe it didn’t to you but the screenwriter may have taken a scene in a different way hence the fun of reading a book you make it be what you want in your imagination and I totally agree with the fact that the trailer is 1 min and a few seconds really what the hell were you looking for out of it? Well I think it was fantastic and just makes me freaking even more excited for November and for all the haters or complainers stay the hell home us true TWilight fans will make sure it makes more then enough money at the box office.:)

okay first off i just wanna say whoever didn’t like the trailer can suck on a crocodile egg okay…..Secondly I wanna say I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT And i think that Taylor Lautner looks awesome…THIRDLY I wanna say that cracks me up…Jacob singing that would have been funny and something i would of liked watching LOL Toooo funny I love your sense of humor xD

DIDO! I loved the trailer, I remember reading where one person was mad about the laurent scene, and how bella was running to Jacob from him and Jacob transforms. Well if you look close you can tell they are two diffrent parts from the movie due to Bella’s clothes! I loved the trailer and have watched many times! I just wish they would put the movie out his summer instead of November!!

I agree with you…I can’t complain. I thought the cast all looked great and I was just happy to have something come out for New Moon : ) All those who are worried….it was a 15 second trailer!!! The movie just finished filming….we are lucky we got anything at all. One more thing……I can’t wait for November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the trailer and thought everyone looked great. I think some people expect too much. Or they just like spending there time complaining… October can’t come soon enough.

I agree…I absolutely loved the trailer, I just hate that November is so far away!!! My whole family thinks Im crazy for being so obsessed but I just cant help it…

I love the New Moon movie trailor. There was sort of a slow build up into the scene where you get to see Jacob in all of his beautiful glory. However, I sort of agree with the comment about their being too much Edward and not enough Jacob. Don’t get me wrong I love Edward but, New Moon is about 85% about the relationship that Bella and Jacob form and 15% about Bella and Edward. So I think that the trailor should have reflected that. I hope maybe soon in the very near future there will be another version that will feature a little more Jacob. After all he worked so hard on that body might as well show it off.

Why has no-one said anything about Laurent! Him and Bella are supposed to meet in the meadow, not some dry feild! It’s Forks! Nothings dry!
And the meadow was important! It’s were she finally comes across magic again in the place where she first came to fully understand it. Not to mention Laurent’s eye-colour is wrong too. His were light orange-red in the trailer but were meant to be almost black from thirst in the book! On top of that the setting of the majority of the trailer is just too different from Twilight: The forest, the Cullens house; just look wrong.
All that aside the trailer itself took my breathe away and the wolf transformation was AMAZING and with another few months to perfect the CGI it will be even better. And all the other concerns make no sense; I just hope they re-shoot Laurent’s scene in a meadow.

I loved the trailer. I agree with CD, the setting for Laurent is all wrong, plus according to what I see, it looks as if Bella didn’t try to run after him. But this is just the traier, not the whole movie of course. But to a non-Twilighter it makes Edward look like a jerk, especially when it pans to Laurent and he says “He just left you here.” Of course it was a selfLESS act–he was trying to save her. I sure hope they show how she tried to run after him. I also hope they include “the note” that Edward left to help them find her. I got the impression in the book that Edward did that afterward so it would lead them to her. But then again, if he was really looking after her from a distance, he would have taken Laurent on himself. And! She didn’t know that was Jacob then. Looks as if in the movie trailer, that’s when he made his reveal to her. Loved the birthday scene, the motorcycle scene. And adding in Edward when his voice was in her head was cool. Although it could confuse a non-reader. He was not really there, just in her mind and heart. Hopefully that won’t be confusing.

when doing a sceen of the film new moon i just want to know whats up with mezes or trio you can not win by yelling to a 8 year old they to young to understand the actor’s who play in the wolf pack when doinf a werewolf so the 2 new wolf pack gose easy doing the wolf in the new moon and stay forces doing your role as wolf and mr. lutz the male acot who plays emmit do not get to eager as you do a sceen with trio or mezes doing a kicking and fighting sceen ok.
