I was fascinated by Nikki Reed because so many people reacted so strongly to her casting and the press seems to spew vitriol at her. At first glance, you would think the girl single handedly jumped up to take the heat, if you were to read some of the scathing reviews and comments about her. It’s all quite unfair once you start looking around and researching her. She by far is the most grounded, well balanced actress/writer today.

    Good article, I never could understand the why so many twilight fans held such harsh feeling toward her, I still don’t. There is such vitriol in most of the comments about her on many twilight fans sites. No one could ever explain to me as to why, they just blamed her for anything that was in the news at the time. Some of it may be well founded but it may have been overboard too. I know some people felt she put herself in the way of a Kristen & Rob relationship.
    It is odd though, now as the filming of New Moon is over she has disappeared for the scene. She and Kristen had been inseparable before, I know Kristen is busy, but even so you never see them together at all. Wasn’t she supposed to join Kristen in Italy?
