TA TALKS BACK: ROB VS KRISTEN, THEIR APPROACH TO PROMOTIONAL EVENTS

TA Forum member GABBIGIRL19 has written her thoughts on Rob versus Kristen about how they approach promotional events:

 

Robert Pattison versus Kristen Stewart

Robert was pretty much a newbie when he signed onto Twilight, and all of us fell in love. His performance was incredible and so dead on that fans started calling him Edward by accident. Rob has appeared at every promotional event, and has even expressed the want to connect with fans even more. He personally reads his fan mail, and he represents the movie with a smile. When Rob got the part, he made sure to read all of the books in a weekend, and expressed his likes and dislikes of his character. He shows appreciation for the opportunities Twilight has opened for him, even though it has changed his life in a way he is not thrilled about.

    if people left kristen alone, and stopped ragging on her, i wonder what would happen? i don’t see rob or taylor or any of her fellow cast-members or friends saying she’s a terrible person. maybe you should read into that. just because she’s not obsessed doesn’t mean she doesn’t love the series. people should really stop. she’s entitled to her individuality.

    Well she’s promoting a movie that made 3453456456456 in the box office. And she has insulted said movie, director, stars, [The whole I'm going to the Oscars when it's great not just because it makes money.] Most importantly insulting the fans which make her paycheck, get her roles [the more your famous the more scrips you get] and just being a brat.

    lulu, I couldn’t have said it better. People DO need to lay off.
    Amanda, every time you comment on here, it’s something negative (usually about Kristen). Okay, we get it, you don’t like her. You can stop ragging on her, IT’S GETTING TIRED!!!
    Hasn’t anybody noticed that Kristen and Rob’s personalities are different? Yes, they’re both shy, but Kristen is very uncomfortable about all this new-found fame. Don’t punish her for it. We should feel sad for her discomfort and hope she can get past it, soon.
    Don’t forget, it was Kristen’s dad who said that about the Oscars, NOT KRISTEN!!! Her dad is always rude to the media and has a BIG MOUTH!!! Kristen has apologized repeatedly for it. Don’t be rude to/about her for her dad’s arrogance.
    Kristen has said many times that she loves the Twilight series AND the movie (this is from her own mouth). Maybe we should all listen to what actually comes from her mouth and not assume that what other people say “for” her is actually coming “from” her.
    Remember, when we ASSUME it makes an ASS out of U and ME.

    SERIOUSLY ROBERT WAS NOT A NEWBIE is was in one the biggest movies EVER and played the most important character..as in with out him the story really would not of gone does HARRY POTTER and CEDRIC DIGGORY ring a bell to anyone seriously newbiew seriously wrong
