TA TALKS BACK: TWILIGHT MOVIE TOUR OREGON
TA fan Natassja writes in about her movie tour experience. She and her husband went on a weekend trip and took pictures. Enjoy:
Have you ever wondered where some of your favorite movies are filmed? What cities and states were your most beloved scenes shot in? I have – so my husband (being the awesome man and Twilight fan that he is) decided to take us on a weekend Twilight movie tour. We thought it would be a fun and exciting way to get out of town and find the locations where our favorite couple spoke some of their now famous words. I contacted a fellow Twilighter (thanks again lulu07!) who set out on this journey herself for some tips before we left. With her help and various websites we found the addresses for numerous filming sites. We punched them into our GPS and headed out of town on our little quest.
Next stop on our list were the Port Angeles scenes. Most of these were shot in a small town called St. Helens, OR which like Corbett, isn’t too far outside of Portland. We headed over to the warehouse parking lot where Bella’s “attackers†trap her after her visit to the bookstore (and where Edward saves her life once again).s there as well. It is super tiny and a little bit on the creepy side.
