   Oh, I’m so confused now. So what makes this one different from the 2-disc special edition that’ll be sold everywhere else? And, is the Blu Ray equivalent to this one or the 2-disc special edition? I hate that there are so many different ones. I just want to get the right one with all the deleted scenes, outtakes, etc.

   When you say that you like what both DVDs offer, what do you mean? What does the other DVD offer that this one doesn’t and vice versa?

   Someone help me out please, i don’t understand about the 5 extended and deleted scenes:
   - will they be interrupted during the film for Catherine to introduce the following scene?
   - will they just be included within the film?
   - or will they be on the options menu separate from the film?

   does anyone know?

   OMG I am so cunfuzzled! I was going to go to the store at Midnight and buy it at the store. but should I do this instead? Is there a difference between the store DVDs and this one and the Amozon one??? And if I do oreder off the internet will it be here March21st or do I have to wait longer?? These companies need to step up cause wee neeeeedddd these answers!!

   OMG! I just did it! I just pre-ordered my copy. Since my amazon will be delivered first thing Monday, I didn’t do the 1 day delivery option for this anymore.

   Anyway, I think like any other DVD with special features, the deleted and extended scenes will have it’s own menu option and it will not be included in the actual movie. The movie itself is just the same as the one we all saw in the theater.

   I went and looked on Borders website for details. Apparently they give you bonus interviews with the cast which is not on the other DVD along with the 10 photocards. Pretty much where it says ‘exclusive’ is the difference between what Borders is offering and the other DVD.

   Also the light blue foldout is supposed to be embossed and super cool. So you could spend the extra 7 bucks and buy the Borders one to get the extra stuff, you don’t need to buy both.

   I work for Borders and we have special edition footage that we got throughout the filming process. Thats what makes it a Borders exclusive. all the the normal special edition stuff will be there. but there will be other footage that won’t appear on the other editions sold elsewhere. For example on the Twilight soundtrack, Borders had an exclusive track (Paramore Decode A capela) that wasn’t available anywhere else. ITs a great ddeal!!!! Promise!

    I canceled my amazon pre-order that I did for the two-disk, and ordered the Border’ special edition DVD.

    The Border’s special edition DVD has everything that the two-disk has, plus the extra interviews and the 10 postcards. You get more for your money in my opinion, plus the packaging is different, I like it better than the packaging on the orginal two-disk DVD.

    Yeah it can be confusing, but I’m pretty certain that anything in the description of the special features above that has EXCLUSIVE at the beginning are only available on this DVD along with the special packaging and photocards. Everything else is available on the other editions.

    I just cancelled my 2 disk order from Amazon and ordered from Borders . The Twilight DVD set they are offering has everything the set has at Amazon plus extras and pictures. I didn’t know about the different packaging though, thats another plus. ;o)

    I just canceled my Amazon order as well. I think the Borders Special Edition is better for your moolah… hoping that there isn’t ANOTHER one coming out after this one that is supposedly.. somehow.. better than this one.. crapshoot!

    I was considering ordering it from Amazon but this one seems so much better, and the box is nicer haha
    I’m so pumped! I’m kind of confused on when I’ll get it though? Like, would it come within the next 5-7 business days like regular things or do we have to wait until the release date? I’ve never pre-ordered anything before lol

    Joanne: You will receive it depending on your delivery option, if you chose the 1-2 days delivery, or 3-5 days or the standard delivery time. It will however, be shipped out within 24 hours from the release date. Since it will be released on March 21, you will probably get it on the 23rd or 24th if you chose the 1-2 days delivery. That’s basically how it works. I am excited to get my copy too

    i just read the description for pre-order shipping policy. If you pre-order it, it will be shipped withing 24 hours of the release day, meaning you probably won’t get the DVD until Monday or Tuesday,

    Is there any way to buy this at Borders when it’s released? I don’t want to have to wait for it to be shipped. I’m impatient.

    I think anything that has “exclusive” is just on this one. I like the cover of the dvd better. After looking at the details of both it seems this dvd has more interviews.

    I really hope this will be available in the store. I don’t like buying things online [and so therefore haven’t preorder the Amazon one ]and this one sounds like the best. I looked at the Hot Topic exclusive one ont there website & it looked like the only “exclusive” thing was some Edward card or something. Didn’t look like it had extra stuff like this one w/the behind the scenes or the cool photocards.
    I can’t wait for March 21st!

    My daughters and I had ours pre-ordered though Amazon. Three of them. Yes three. We are aged as 57, 33,and 20. We have read all four books and seen the movie more than once. We canceled our Amazon order and ordered 3 at Borders. It’s a no brainer.

    I cancelled my order from Barnes & Noble the minute I saw this edition and preordered this from Borders instead (heresy! I am typically a B&N Puritan!). I would have still bought this one even if it did not include the extra bonus features simply because it’s prettier I might buy the original 2-disc DVD later, when it’s on sale or something, just to have the neat cover.

    is this dvd only available through pre-ordering? or can i walk into borders on March 21st and get their special edition in the store? cause i don’t wanna wait a few more days, but i just don’t know if it’ll be in the store…does anyone know? thanks!

    I just pre-ordered this from Borders. But, I was very surprised that they charged my Visa card immediately. Amazon doesn’t charge until an item is shipped.

    I think all dvds have subtitles…spanish and french. So anyone who needs that can buy it!
    About going to buy the dvd at the stores, yes! It will be on sale on March 21st in stores! OH AND…I just got off the phone with a staff member of Borders and they might have a release party! They don’t know yet if it’ll be a midnight release and to keep calling to check up on that because they haven’t heard anything from corporate. I don’t have money yet, so I will probably buy it day of!

    I ordered mine to, and Boarders automatically charges your account, I’ve used them before and I don’t know about this dvd but I generally get the merchandise on the day of release, or the very next day with standard shipping. I have also canceled pre-orders with them before and the money was put back on my card in about 24 hours.

    As Choloe had asked above…I’m wondering the same thing. Can I just go to the store @ midnight (If the midnight release parties are true) and buy one? Rather than pre-order online? Or is that exclusive special edition strictly an online offer? And speaking of parties…Does anyone know if Borders is even having a dvd release party?

    I ordered my copy at Borders.com yesterday. Today I went to the site, there was a note on the side that said:

    “Please note:

    Due to its popularity pre-orders placed after February 4 for the Borders-exclusive edition of Twilight may not be available until on or before April 13.

    Pre-order now to reserve your place in line for April delivery OR visit your local store to pre-order your copy for pick-up on March 21.”

    I ordered on the 4th, so I think I’m okay. But I’d hate if I really had to wait until April to get it. I might consider cancelling my online order and pre-ordering it in store, since I hadn’t known prior to this notice that that had been an option.

    I ordered mine last week, and checked my Credit Card and it was debited, I checked today and the money is back in my account. I called the bank and they said that the amount was declined but they couldn’t give me a reason cause I have credit and nothing to block the transaction. My question is when you order I through borders I thought that they debit at the time of order so if a confirmation came through, why didn’t they alert me that is was declined? I’m anxiously waiting on a reply. Has this happened to anyone else?

    I ordered an order with Borders went through fine and tried to do another about ten days later. They pre-authorise your credit card and then put the money back on a few days later. Hate how they do it. But for my second lot they took it and the order and five days later cancelled so I tried ordering with my sister’s credit card. Figured maybe as I ordered prior they were limiting but hers came back cancelled two days later. I called from Australia and they said the demand was so high, they just can’t cope with it that’s why the orders were cancelled. I said fair enough but why except the order and worse pre-authorise our credit cards(which made it we couldn’t use those funds for a few days until money was put back on).
    Just so the Aussie’s here know it’s a region 1 dvd for NTSC U.S but play in multi-region dvds and if your dvd player is locked just goggle your make and brand and that’s how we unlocked ours to play multi-regions. I might add today Borders took the money officially off my card so I’m wondering if the process has begun of them going through and shipping shortly. So exciting.
