I am SOO happy that she is getting her dream out there. The song is absolutly perfect and she is so sweet. Need HAS to be in New Moon!!

The song isn’t bad. But, it really annoys me that artists campaign for their songs to be in the movie. I say leave it up to the director and his vision for the film. He should make the calls about which songs fit certain scenes? How can you say a song fits a certain scene when you don’t know how that scene is going to play out on screen in the first place? I think it’s extremely arrogant when artists claim their song is perfect for something like this. I realize there is always some promotion you do to have your song heard, but this girl is going too far in my opinion! There’s another girl, Candace Cheree, who’s doing the same thing. But her song is completely awful. At least Hana’s song isn’t bad. I just think it’s nothing special and I think Chris Weitz wants songs that are a bit risky.

i think the directors have the final say for what song goes in their movies but to give it a listen to see if they could use it wouldnt hurt…its a pretty song…her voice at some parts kinda reminds me of amy from evanescence…

DONT LIKE IT AT ALL!!!! the tone is totally wrong even though the lyrics might relate a little bit, they can do better at finding a better song fit for New Moon, no offense but i don’t think it is the right one.

I thought that was really, really good. I hope she does end up making it on the soundtrack. I agree with whoever said it below, she does sort of sound like Amy Lee.

I really like it! I think it might go really well in the movie. She reminds me of Amy Lee from Evanescence as well. I hope they at least give her some consideration. She is really good!

It’s teh perfect song for new moon her in depth description of bella and how she feels as she searches for edward is spot on. I love the song we must find a way to help her get it on teh soundtrack and movie.

That song is perfect for the scene where Edward tells Balla that he can not be with her anymore. I really hope that they look at it and put it in!

Sorry, but Missy Higgins ” Ten Days” may have good lyrics, but I think the song is too upbeat for when Edward leaves Bella. I truly think ” Need ” is such an excellent choice…. there’s a mood to the song that at least I, personally feel captures the pain Bella is going through. I SO hope her song gets recognized for New Moon. ITS AWSOME! And, yes, she does sound like Amy Lee, Ben Moody ( formerly of Evanescence ) is helping with her upcoming album…..perhaps that explains the simularities

The song “Need” would be a perfect addition to the New Moon soundtrack. The words to that song so fit in when Edward leaves Bella in the forest.

Add me to the list of supporters, the song is beautiful. I think it is perfect. How on earth could a 15 year girl old write these kinds of lyrics? Keep an eye on this girl, she is going places.

I do agree though, it all depends on the director’s vision. It seems like so many artists are only jumping on the Twilight bandwagon as a quick shot to fame, and I don’t respect that at all.

I think her song is very good! I would also want to see Evanescence on the soundtrack, I think they have some songs that go perfectly with new moon too, and muse, and paramore too!:D

But If it was in the movie
It would ruin it
Because it is short
hard to follow

and it would fit the part of edward leaving bella

I don’t know that it would ruin the movie, but it wouldn’t get my vote. It is too slow – I gave up listening about halfway through. I LOVE my Twilight soundtrack and listen to every song on it. This would definitely be one I would skip when listening to the NM soundtrack.

“Catch Me When I Fall” – Ashlee Simpson is another good slow empty, desperate I need someone around song when she’s in between Edward and Jacob…

I thought New Moon for both of these after hearing them again shortly after reading the book.

well.. i just listened to the song and I think it’s alright, it could be off the charts with slight changes, but all in all it works.

I think it’s alright that she wants her song to be included in New Moon. at the end of the day she let it out there, created enough fuss to get our attention, and it is after all the director’s call.

I really like the song and i don’t know why, but it made me cry thinking about when Edward has left Bella and she can’t live properly because he isn’t there with her. Btw, i didn’t cry when reading New Moon which is why it surprised me that i did now.

I think it would be cool if the Director had Amy Lee come up with a song specifically for NM. (kindof how they did w/Paramore) I miss Amy Lee’s music and her lycics are always beautiful with deep emotions.

I am sure the girl is nice,but the song is not.I couldn’t make it through the entire song either,it just dragged on and on and on,and of course if you show anything to Twilight fans on MySpace they will whore you on bulletins to DEATH,I don’t think we should fall in love with every single thing out there just because it has the word “Twilight” attached to it.You have to have talent too,and maybe to some this chic does,but not for this soundtrack,she doesn’t have a prayer to get into this movie’s soundtrack.

Its a nice song, for a song, but not for new moon. I mean the lyrics are a bit jumpy and erratic, and it’s too slow for how i imagined the beginning of new moon.

Just leave it up to the director to choose. It will be better then because it will fit in with the feel of the film.

I think it is perfect, either for when Edward first leaves, or when she first gets him back and thinks its all a dream. she extremly talented and it would be a great add

It’s a nice song, I can actually picture it playing as Edward is devising his plan in Italy, and back to Bella on the plane on her way there with Alice. Another good spot would be as a montage when Bella is trying to do her dangerous stunts just so she can hear Edward.

I totally see this in the movie. Imagine: the song comes on just as Edward is leaving Bella in the woods, she’s upset and tries to follow him, she’s crying, frantic, running blindly then gives up and lays down, curls into a ball, shaking and crying, view from above as the rain starts to fall. Then you hear people yelling her name, Sam shows up and picks Bella up. Next they’re at her house, lots of people, talking and frantic but Bella is practically catatonic (song still playing). Next they show her everyday activities. Bella is blank-faced and going through motions while everything moves super fast around her. I see her in the cafeteria sitting at her table with her friends and she’s moving at normal speed, eating lunch while everything else is super-speed around her. And that’s where my vision ends.

OMG this song is amazing and it would be perfect for the movie! i really hope that they put it in there!

I think the song would be great on the soundtrack! Maybe during the sequence after Edward leaves her and she gets lost in the forest. I can see this song playing as Sam finds her lying there.

for those of you who are saying that it’s up to the director to make the decisions..it’s actually up to the soundtrack executive…Chris Weitz even said that he wants a more experimental and suprising soundtrack..well…newer un-heard of artists are experimental and surprising..and this song is awesome.

I can picture the scene where Edward is telling Bella he needs to leave her…the song doesn’t play for the start of their conversation but the instrumental starts when she says “you..dont…want me?”
and he says no..and the words start..then he walks off into the woods and she runs after him but she cant find him..she trips and falls in the woods and just lays there..too shocked..broken..and confused to move..and she closes her eyes…the song continues to play as she pictures memories in her head and keeps playing the last words he said to her over and over again in her head..she sleeps..the song plays to the final notes and she hears someone calling her name..the last note plays..and she opens her eyes to find Sam Uley standing over her.

I think the songs: Breathe by Taylor Swift is a perfect song for when Edward leaves, as well as White Horse by Taylor Swift, listen to the words and you’ll know why, and finally, Love Story by Taylor Swift because of the whole Romeo and Juliet reference in the song and the book.

I don’t know about that song. It’s good, but I really think everyone should hunt down and take a listen to the song “Miss You Love” by Silverchair. It’s on the Neon Ballroom CD. Listen to it and tell me that it wouldn’t be a perfect song in the background after Edward has been gone awhile. Not every single lyric is relavent to the situation, but they never play an entire song in a movie anyway. Every time I read New Moon, I hear that song in my head.

I love her song ‘Need’ and I think it’s great for the soundtrack. She has a beautiful voice, and ‘Need’ fits NM, and I think it really brings out how bella feels. Here’s the first line which I think is perfect for how bella feels, “I’m not quite sure how to breathe without you here”. I hope she gets on the NM soundtrack, it’d be perfect she’s not quite famous yet, but if she got on the soundtrack then that’d start up her career like it did with the actors for ‘Twlight’. It’s funny I’m listening to her music right now(Listening to ‘These Two Hands’)!

I created a song for my senior project for New Moon.

I know Paramore is going to do another song for New Moon. I think they should get amy lee to write the theme for New Moon. It would be a great comeback for Amy Lee since she hasnt done anything new and she could do it as a soloist artist. Need is a good song but I dont think its type of song for twilight maybe for a tv series but not for twilight. I think Blue October is trying to get a song on the new moon album too.
