BOXWISH.COM: Singer’s campaign to get song in Twilight sequel, New Moon.

What music do you want to hear in the Twilight sequel New Moon? That was the question we posed to our Twilight-loving Boxwishers earlier in the week. We had calls for more Paramore, more Muse and perhaps a dash of Evanescence, but one aspiring singer/ songwriter desperately hoping to find her name on the soundtrack is 19-year-old Hana Pestle. The wannabe songstress is campaigning to get her song â€œNeedâ€ noticed by the bigwigs at Summit Entertainment in a bid to be included in the movie and is drumming up support on her MySpace page.

Hana has already earned the attention of former Evanescence singer/ songwriter Ben Moody and with his guidance has crafted her debut CD which sheâ€™s planning to release later this summer. This collection includes â€œNeedâ€; a song Hana first wrote when she was 15 which as a big fan of the Stephenie Meyers books she believes neatly fits in with the themes and plot of Twilight follow-up New Moon. She even has a link with the Twilight soundtrack having toured last year with amongst others Collective Soul whose song â€œTremble for my Belovedâ€ is track seven on the album.

I think the songs: Breathe by Taylor Swift is a perfect song for when Edward leaves, as well as White Horse by Taylor Swift, listen to the words and you’ll know why, and finally, Love Story by Taylor Swift because of the whole Romeo and Juliet reference in the song and the book.

I don’t know about that song. It’s good, but I really think everyone should hunt down and take a listen to the song “Miss You Love” by Silverchair. It’s on the Neon Ballroom CD. Listen to it and tell me that it wouldn’t be a perfect song in the background after Edward has been gone awhile. Not every single lyric is relavent to the situation, but they never play an entire song in a movie anyway. Every time I read New Moon, I hear that song in my head.

hmmmm….. i like it….. but i guess it depends how they do the scene where edward leaves bella…. so i guess if it fits the scene…. but i do like it….

I love this song. I think it would be perfect for New Moon. I like the song so much, it is my top song on my myspace playlist. I really hope the director of music hears this and uses it for the movie.

I love her song ‘Need’ and I think it’s great for the soundtrack. She has a beautiful voice, and ‘Need’ fits NM, and I think it really brings out how bella feels. Here’s the first line which I think is perfect for how bella feels, “I’m not quite sure how to breathe without you here”. I hope she gets on the NM soundtrack, it’d be perfect she’s not quite famous yet, but if she got on the soundtrack then that’d start up her career like it did with the actors for ‘Twlight’. It’s funny I’m listening to her music right now(Listening to ‘These Two Hands’)!

I created a song for my senior project for New Moon.
I know that it will NEVER be used in the movie.. but i hoped that one day stephanie meyer will hear it.. maybe if it came across seth.. anyways.. I thought I would post this.. Tell me what you guys think. or dont. whichever. I just hope you like it.

I know Paramore is going to do another song for New Moon. I think they should get amy lee to write the theme for New Moon. It would be a great comeback for Amy Lee since she hasnt done anything new and she could do it as a soloist artist. Need is a good song but I dont think its type of song for twilight maybe for a tv series but not for twilight. I think Blue October is trying to get a song on the new moon album too.

I think “Miserable at Best” by Mayday Parade should be on it! it fits perfectly!
