CANADA TWILIGHT CONVENTION TWI-CAN UPDATE
Over a month ago, Illana and Taryn created a petition on Facebook for a Canadian Twilight convention and they’ve now reached over 2000 members! They have been recognized by many Twilight fan sites and are making their way up there. They now have a blog up and running and are still looking for more fan sites to join their affiliates. If you’re interested, contact them a twicancon@hotmail.com.Illana and Taryn would like to connect with members and fellow Twilighters on a more personal level by writing longer and more descriptive updates on the convention.
Although they have received a lot of support, nothing is confirmed. They would like to get started as soon as possible; planning the event and what not. But in order to do that they’re going to need some help and resources. If you have any ideas for funding, if you know how to contact the actors or would like to be a partner in this project please please don’t hesitate to let them know. I would definitely go if it was near me. Somewhere near Windsor, Ontario perhaps?
I would totally go if it was close to the northwest and I would go if the prices were reasonable. I would bring friends with me, road trip! It makes sense since some of New Moon will be filmed in vancouver, but Victoria B.C. is beautiful too! (correct me if i’m wrong..)
it should be around the toronto area. it only makes sense.
omg. when i heard about the twicon in dallas,i was dieing 2 go, but like i highly doubt i’d b allowed 2 go for a day or 2 for it. now that we’re having one here i don’t care where ni canada it is, as long as it’s resonably priced, I’M SO TOTALLY THERE!!
i totally going to help if its near me. i hope its in vancouver because it would be easier to get actors. sence there filming in vancouver!
It should be held in Vancouver, since you know, part of New Moon is filmed there.
OMG OMG OMG. I WOULD SOOO GO IF IT WAS CLOSE TO ME, maybe aroung moncton by fredericton. also i would go if the tickets would be reasonable. i would bring my Best friend with me. ROAD TRIP. I hope that this will be happing soon. i am a really big fan of twilight
I’m not from Canada but I live along the border, and I would go if it is anywhere in Quebec or Ontario, and I would DEFINITELY go if it is in MONTREAL!!!!

and i cant afford to go to texas for twi-con so a twi-can would be amazing i know 50 ppl that would go cuz they also cant go.

Who’s to say there only has to be ONE Canadian convention?! Why don’t they do one in each province!? I live near Toronto and I would SO go if there was one here… but common, just becuase ONE person is trying to get them to come to Canada doesn’t mean others can’t! I think a group of people in each province should TOTALY start working ont he prosses that way none of the Canadian fans have to mis sout, or go to totaly crazy lengths and expensess to fly around the states! It only makes sence! If they go to more then once state, why not more then one province!!!!!

i think there should be one in all our major provinces because it isn’t fair for the west coast if it is in Toronto and it isn’t fair for the east coast if it is in Vancouver!
i will go for sure for sure if its anywhere between toronto and montreal!…best would be ottawa or montreal! I LOVE TWILIGHT!
