COLLIDER: EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH CHRIS WEITZ
Steve at Collider.com has an exclusive interview with New Moon director Chris Weitz. This is really an original interview where Chris gets into the length of the New Moon movie and even talks a bit about what kind of special features we might get.
I guess I’m surprised about a couple of things. Seriously Italy is really the first place he got noticed all the time? I guess he’ll be feeling all of the fan love soon, but I would have thought everyone in Vancouver was looking for him too. I’m surprised he is thinking New Moon will be similar in length to Twilight, but I have full trust in Chris, so I’m sure it will be the exact length it needs to be. I’ll be looking forward to any extended scenes we get regardless!
What did you think of this interview? Did you think the New Moon movie would be a longer than Twilight?

Extended version!? That would be amazing!
As much as I died from laughter with Rob and Kristen’s commentary on the first one, I’m sure Chris’s comments will be really great!
After hearing his interview, I’m even more anxious for this movie! AHHHHHH!!!!!! November hurry up!!
What a great interview with Chris. I was hoping New Moon
would be longer because I think Twilight was too short!
Yea!!! I thought it was cute he said fans want to meet him to get closer to Rob. I like this director more and more after each interview. I will be standing in line at HOT TOPIC AGAIN to get the EXTENDED DVD of N M. I love you TA for bringing us Twi news, fabulous pics, and videos. I enjoy reading all the comments others send.
I GET MORE AND MORE EXCITED TO SEE NM. CANNOT WAIT!!!
I really like Chris. What a great sense of humor!! I was glad to hear that the movie will be about 2 hours long. It seemed like Twilight was shorter?
Chris Weitz, I’m your fan!!
He’s hilarious.
But - lets not hear any talk about “cutting” anything and lets not talk only 2 hours. PLEASE! Make it epic! 3.5 hours yes!! No complaints here Mister.
Haha about his detailed blue-ray info of hatred towards the actors. He’s so funny.
