The other day in an interview with MTV, Jamie Campbell-Bower, who plays Caius, spoke about what he said was a nude scene in New Moon (you can watch the interview HERE). Apparently Jamie was a tad too convincing, because news and media outlets across the globe picked up the story and relayed it as factual information. Rest assured, there will be no nude scene in New Moon, and Chris Weitz is debunking those rumors himself:
Dear all,
I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the
Volturi are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a
dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me — which is why he’s
such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the
look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always — as in
the book! — fully clothed.

Okay well I thought this joke was hilarious, and I knew there’d be no nude scene in New Moon. I was surprised at how many people actually believed the story though, and I’m sure many will be disappointed that it’s been proven false (ha!). I did enjoy Jamie’s jokes on his twitter though, about how we should call it Full Moon rather than New Moon.

This was so funny, their facial expressions killed me, hilarious! My favorite moments were the small car, the baseball scene and of course the tree climbing. I think I laughed most at the “Oh mum, not in front of Bella!” part. The bloopers are pretty funny as well.

Chapter NINETEEN - Goodbyes by Erica:
When Bella reaches her house, she is visibly upset and tells Charlie think that she hates living in Forks. She rushes upstairs where Edward is waiting for her, packing her clothes. As she leaves, she cruelly uses the words that Renee said to Charlie so many years before – knowing it is the only way that her father will let her go. She gets to her truck and tries to drive away but Edward is there to drive for her. They find Laurent at the Cullen home, bewildered by the Cullens’ lifestyle and their readiness to protect a human. Before leaving, he warns them about James’ ability and declares that he won’t fight with him or against him. Carlisle and Edward devise a plan while Bella and Esme switch clothes to help mask Bella’s scent.
Edward and Bella exchange a painful goodbye. The Cullens divide and conquer; Edward with Emmett and Carlisle leave together; Esme and Rosalie leave in Bella’s truck. Alice scoops Bella up into her arms as she and Jasper take her away.

The Twilight Graphic Novel is already in the works, but now Stephenie Meyer is getting a graphic publication based on herself - her very own comic book. Blue Water Productions, the creators behind the Female Force comic book series (which also featured the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Princess Diana), will be producing the comic book and intend to have it out before the November release of New Moon. In time for the November theatrical release of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” Bluewater Productions announced it is producing two versions of an upcoming biography comic on best selling author Stephenie Meyer.
Female Force: Stephenie Meyer, scheduled for release right before the movie hits theaters on, November 20th, provides readers two options: a standard 22-page version and a double-sized collector’s edition that contains a variety of extras.
“We get to turn the tables on Meyers and she becomes the featured protagonist,” said Bluewater’s president Darren G. Davis. “And we are going to tell her story in a very fun, respectful and unique way.”
The comic, written by Ryan Burton (”Flying Saucers vs The Earth”) examines her rise to popularity, her “Twilight” saga novels, the launching of the successful movie franchise and her future plans. According to Burton, a very recognizable and iconic vampire will serve as the story’s narrator.
“It’s an equally strange and great feeling to write about an author of this magnitude, especially in a format that’s near and dear to my heart. I think it’s brilliant that Stephenie Meyer’s story will be read by both fans of her work, and fans of the comic book medium,” Burton said.
The alternate 40-page collector’s edition will include the history of Forks; the Washington peninsula town where her stories take place as well as other bonus material not found anywhere else.
The title is being drawn by Dave MacNeil and Vinnie Tartamella provides the cover art.
Meyer, Named USA Today’s “Author of the Year” in 2008, is the first author of fiction featured in the Female Force series. The series, to date, has published biographies on such influential women as Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Palin and Princess Diana.
Wow, this is pretty intense. I’ve never heard of Blue Water Productions and I’m not a huge comic book fan (sorry), but I will really look forward to this. It sounds pretty interesting and I love the cover art. I wonder what Mrs. Meyer herself thinks of it?
