TWLIGHT ODDS AND ENDS FOR MONDAY 6/15/09

We have a short and sweet set of odds and ends for you today including: Twi/tour LA update, the July Twibble deadline, Peter Facinelli and Gil Birmingham on Twitter, TA July member of the month voting and Jackson Rathbone and 100 Monkeys.
- Today some good news from The Marriott Los Angeles Airport for all those fans coming to Creation Entertainment conventions in 2009/2010: our special room rates for convention attendees have been lowered to $112 a night from the previously advertised higher rate!
- What is a Twibble you may ask…..it’s a Twilight Drabble – or what we like to call, Twibble! For those of you who aren’t familiar with drabbles, a drabble is a work of fiction that is extremely short, less than 1000 words long. Drabble contests allow an author to test their skills at expressing interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space. In our Twibble Contest, you will be given a quote from the Twilight Saga and you must use that quote somewhere in your twibble. For our purposes, a twibble can be no longer than 250 words and must be related to the Twilight universe. Each month’s winner will be given some TA bookmarks. - Peter Facinelli made a bet that he would have 500,000 followers on twitter by Friday. If he doesn’t meet his goal, Peter loses his actor’s chair from Twilight. Follow Peter, here. Aww, if I’d have known Jackson was going to be there I would have stopped by. the Promenade shops are just a hop skip and a jump from where I work. lol. ^^
