MIDNIGHT SUN WILL BE STEPHENIE MEYER’S NEXT PROJECT!
In a statement on her website, Stephenie Meyer’s webmaster posted this statement:
“In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun.”

I don’t know if i will be able to wait for 2 WHOLE YEARS for MS to come out. I read the first chapter and i thought it was SOOOOOO GGGOOOOODDDD!!!!!!! When I tell my friend she is going to be happy and upset too. She LOVES the twilight series and when she found out the SM was not going to publish MS she was heart broken. She will be excited when she finds out that SM is going to publish it but in 2 YEARS!! I feel horrible that the leak happened with MS. SM should take her time on it and write it when she feels right. Even if I have to wait 2 YEARS for it, I will. hmph!
OMG!!! i can’t wait!!!!

In addition to completing Midnight Sun, I hope Stephenie Meyer will write from Edward’s perspective and the things he experienced and did in New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. If Edward’s perspective from New Moon wouldn’t be that long, perhaps she would consider combining Edward’s perspective on both New Moon and Eclipse together. I know I would definitely buy any and all new Twilight saga books that she writes that are written from Edward and the Cullens’ perspective. I can understand that Stephenie might be eager to write something unrelated to Twilight, but she has to understand that so many people have fallen in love with her Twilight saga and would definitely buy any additional books she may (and hopefully will) write from Edward’s perspective.
I found this on another post and at least this will give us a rough idea when we might have our dreams come true.
