KIIS-FM Movie Review: OMG

Hey Twilighters, Wolfsbane here checkin’ in! I was listening to the radio this morning on the way to VOTE and heard one of Ryan Seacrest’s co-jocks giving her reviews after watching a screening of the Twilight movie last night.

Here’s what Natalie of KIIS had to say, and watch out for the wet spot because she was absolutely gushing:

“Omg. I have no idea how I just sat in a room full of agents parents and actors and didn’t scream for two hours

I’m literally dying. This is me dead. OMGGGGG IT WAS AMAZING. I cried like 10 times, cuz I can do that quietly. I wanted to scream, but couldn’t

Rob pattinson - as edward, strange, tortured and painfully gorgeous. Like literally painful to watch

Dying. Ur such a tool to miss that. So stubborn. So sad”

This was a text reply to Ryan Seacrest after she saw his text saying he couldn’t make it to the screening. If you would like to listen in, KIIS has live streaming, and I’m sure ya’ll know this already but Ryan reads passages from the Twilight book sometimes on the show. He’s a fan!

So there you have it, a real live review from a fan, if it made her cry, what do you think it’ll do to you?

  4. Wolfsbane responded:

Prepare for more torture as the pre-screening reviews start trickling in. I wonder what the more mainstream critics will have to say, they’re usually harsh on movies like these.

  5. linds responded:

my prediction is i will likely die. in the theatre. what a way to go!

  6. kristine89 responded:

I think it’ll be an effort for a lot of us not to scream with excitement when we finally see this film! :lol

I’m actually thinking I may have to wait til the 2nd weekend, just in case I end up sitting in a theatre full of screaming girls and can’t hear the movie :lol

  7. MsMina responded:

Ditto Martha! 16 more days (well 15 for me)is torture…I don’t know if I can handle it, especially if they keep releasing any more of thee TV spots! If it lives up to the book I have plans of seeing it over and over again in theaters..and even if it doesn’t I’ll be seeing it a minimum of three times opening weekend! Haha…I’m so freaking excited though! They’re having a premiere party here in Vegas so I get to see it Thursday vs Friday!

  8. Amber responded:

Ugh…I can’t wait to see the movie! 16 days and 12 hours and 21 min lol!! It’sso close!

  9. Edwardlover responded:

GOSH! I already had no doubt that the movie was going to be AWESOME! But, now, GOSH! This is driving me crazy! I. WANT. THE. MOVIE. HURRY UP ALREADY! XD

  10. Jake responded:

kristine89: You might have a good idea there. Maybe watch it 2x? lol

  11. Ana responded:

OME!!!!!! I can’t take this suspense anymore!!! I WANT this movie. And can I just say with all these press appearances that Rob is doing, and interviews, I’ve jsut fallen in love with the man WAAAAYYY MORE. I didn’t think that was possible!!!

  12. zophie responded:

I’m going to the midnight showing and I’ve never been to one of those before. I’m so excited. I already know I’ll be seeing it numerous times that weekend, so I’ll be able to hear everything at all of those other showings if the screaming’s too loud. Us fans are going to DOMINATE the theaters that weekend!

  13. kerri responded:

Not that I didnt already know that Rob as Edward was painfully gorgeous to watch but to have him as Edward….that literally makes me crazy with the most pleasnant pain!

  14. Courtney responded:

OMG!i’m soo excited. I get to see rob on the 15th cuz he’s doing an appearance at much and im going :D
I seriously need to get close to that6 boy .. plus kristen and rachelle will be there so it’s even better! If this girl freaked out i cant imagine what i’ll do! And i REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna go to the midnight shows .. but im just asking everyone whos going - i know were all supper dupper excite dlol - but PLEASEEE! don’t scream im just saying .. when i see it i actually wanna be able to HEAR the movie ahaha.

  15. Nikki responded:

Courtney, I agree with you completely. TWILIGHT FANS: I know it will be hard, but please don’t scream during the movie. It will be hard enough to hear over the racing hearts and heavy breathing. That’s why I’m not only going to a midnight showing, but the first one in the afternoon on the 21st too, so I won’t have to deal with all the squealing. Oh, and I’m also going that evening with one of my daughters for her b-day and then I’m going the next afternoon with my other daughter, and my DJ friend is hooking me up with tickets for setting up an interview with Justin Chon. So, my weekend is full and I still probably won’t get enough Twilight. Like that’s possible, right?!

  16. Bellicesme responded:

I’m really glad that I read this excerpt because I’ve been so worried about the movie. I’m 32 years of age and I loved all of the books, however I was afraid that the movie wouldn’t be anything like the book. But now that I read that someone older than a “young adult” LOVED the movie, i’m much more excited.
Thank you Ryan Seacrest for reading Twilight passages on your radio show. And thank you to his staff for making him read the passages as well!
    Sooo, awesome!

  17. amanda responded:

omg! i might go to the houston galleria 2 moroow a taylor(jacob) will be there is sooooooo hot and im on edwards team!!!!!and taylor b day is 3 days after mine OMG HES SSSSOOOO HOT!

  18. Jen responded:

I thought the book absolutely sucked…just another fluffed teenage vampire trist. I can’t fathom how so many people liked it that much, The first half almost put me to sleep. Hoping the movie will be better, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

  19. Jen responded:

I thought the book absolutely sucked…just another fluffed teenage vampire-love novel. I can’t fathom how so many people liked it that much; the first 3/4 of it nearly put me to sleep. Hoping the movie will be better, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

  20. Twilight Movie Review by Fans responded:

I am absolutely dying with anticipation!! I cannot wait to finally see this movie on Thursday night and yes, I’ll definitely cry. My heart is racing just at the thought of seeing it on the big screen. Just 3 more days!!
