Ooh, I like this teaser poster! It’s great that they’re using an eclipse in the poster - very fitting. I also like the use of the clouds, it gives it kind of an eerie feeling.

What do you think of the first teaser poster for Eclipse? What or who do you hope to see on future posters for Eclipse?

MTV: JAMIE, KELLAN, NIKKI AND EDI TACKLE SOME QUESTIONS

Larry Carroll from MTV is back again today with many members of the New Moon cast including Jamie, Kellan, Nikki and Edi as they answer all kind of questions from their characters to what exactly the google.

Jamie Campbell Bower

Q: Have you been able to meet Stephenie Meyer yet?

Campbell Bower: Yes, she’s fantastic. She’s really lovely. I got to meet with her a couple of days before we started filming and spoke to her about the characters and stuff.

MTV: What kind of notes did she have for you?

Campbell Bower: [We spoke about] this idea that [the Volturi] are fairly cultured and very civilized. They’ve been around for 2,000 years, and [Caius] has got this deep-rooted anger in him. That was about it. I mean, we literally just sat down. She didn’t give me any specific notes and such.

Kellan Lutz

Q: You and Nikki [Reed] are my favorite characters/couple. I loved how you played them in “Twilight.” Will we see a bit more of their relationship in “New Moon”?

Lutz: “New Moon” doesn’t really focus on the Cullen family enough. [Our screen time] is just like the kitchen scene in “Twilight,” with the family when Bella comes in with Edward. We try to gravitate towards our significant others as much as we can in the scenes that are allowed. With “New Moon,” there aren’t really too many scenes that we can show Emmett and Rosalie’s relationship.

MTV: So is it all about sneaking in glances to each other and maybe holding hands at a certain point, that kind of stuff?

Lutz: Yeah, I guess we sneak as much as we can in there. It’s really how [director] Chris [Weitz] lines us up and what’s better for the lighting, what’s better for the camera. I’m much larger than Nikki, so I don’t want to block her light. If they put us together, great — but then again, Rosalie’s character is more of the standoffish one with Bella, versus Emmett. It’s fine either way, so he’s really happy when he gives the radio to Bella for her birthday and the big hugs and stuff.

INSIDE THE ‘NEW MOON’ SOUNDTRACK

In a new article from SPIN.com, they take us inside the soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: New Moon by giving an exclusive interview with music supervisor Alex Patsavas. In the new interview, Alex discusses how the soundtrack for the film came together, what makes for a good movie-related music moment, and more. Check it out below:

How you go about something like New Moon, which features original songs from so many artists who don’t often appear in projects this high-profile?

The work starts as soon as the script is finished and distributed. Chris Weitz, the director, had a very specific point of view about how he wanted the music to feel. There’s a lot of separation and longing and loss in the movie; the bands and lyrics and sound and arrangements had to reflect that. Some folks, like Lykke Li, the Killers, Grizzly Bear, OK Go, and Anya Marina all came into the cutting room and sat with Chris to watch the movie and talk about their contributions. Other tracks were submitted with the movie in mind. I think it’s very difficult to succeed without any context.

A lot of people were surprised by Thom Yorke’s inclusion. How did that come about?

A Radiohead song [”15 Step”] played over the end titles of Twilight, so we had a relationship. I believe this is the first soundtrack he’s been on in a long time, so that’s exciting. A lot of bands were interested in submitting great material, which helps a lot.

HARPER’S BAZAAR: ROB PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART

Harper’s Bazaar December issue is featuring Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The issue is focused on the “lady is a vamp”- photo shoot with incredible photos and features a long interview with both of them. Check out more below:

See all the pictures of Rob and Kristen here.

Rob Pattinson’s and Kristen Stewart’s rooms sit side by side on the thirtysomethingth floor of the Sheraton hotel in Vancouver (”the Couve,” as Kristen calls it), where they are filming Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight saga. They spend a lot of time in their rooms in the sky — two Rapunzels of sorts entertaining themselves behind closed doors — because it’s really, really hard to go out. “There are like 15 different exits in this place,” observes Kristen of the tactics she and the rest of the Twilight cast use to avoid the paparazzi. She adds, “Rob is more frustrated with it, but he’s 23 and I’m 19. He had a couple more years to be an adult and to be independent, whereas just as I was getting to the age when it’s normal to go out by yourself …” She pauses. “But it’s boring because this is all I f***ing talk about.”

Rob talks about it too. “Do you mind if we sit outside?” he asks as he stands in his hotel room, looking longingly out the window. “I need some air.” It’s a cold, gray day, but who is to deny him some freedom? (And chivalry is not dead, girls. A young man will still lend you his jacket. Maybe because he is British.) Rob doesn’t just face paparazzi, he gets clawing, shrieking girls too. New Yorkers may remember he was clipped by a cab while fleeing from the ladies on the set of Remember Me this past summer. “But at least that’s an experience, something new,” he says. “If it’s just screaming — and I know this sounds so ridiculous — that gets old. But sometimes when there’s literal chaos, it’s like being in a war zone, and that’s kind of exciting. You’re just running through the crowd of people chasing after you and no one knows what’s going on.” Rob has laid low for a few days — a disturbance in the Force so great that Perez Hilton (home of some of Rob’s 15,200,000 Google hits) felt compelled to post, “Where is R-Patz?!” “If I’m not out, I’ve had a heroin overdose,” Rob observes. “It’s one thing or another.”

At the moment, there is only one thing anyone cares about regarding these two, who, as Twilight’s Bella and Edward, manifest all of our vampiric romance fetishes: Are they dating or what? Well … it’s clear that Rob and Kristen are close — very close. Okay, who is the most romantic then? “I have a no-bullshit detector,” says Kristen, “so I’d have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest. As long as it’s honest, it’s so disarming.” Rob chuckles when asked the same question. “Um, I don’t know. What did Kristen say?” You. “No. I’m better at faking.” This is followed by a very long laugh.

I can’t stop laughing! This interview is absolutely priceless, they are so funny together. The pictures are unbelievable, they are both such beautiful people.

VANCOUVER SUN: THE ‘NEW MOON’ HUMANS KEEP IT REAL

In a new interview from the Vancouver Sun, they talk to film actors Anna Kendrick, Justin Chon, Christian Serratos, and Michael Welch - aka ‘the humans’ - about all things New Moon. The actors address questions like how the switch from filming in Portland to Vancouver was like, whether they’d prefer to play a vampire or a werewolf, how their characters have changed since Twilight, and more:

Unlike Twilight, which was shot in Portland, you shot New Moon in Vancouver. What was that like?

Justin: The weather’s actually been better here. Portland was very, very, very cold and rainy. It’s a little bit nicer here.

Anna: One of the freaky things about shooting New Moon in a different location than Portland was the re-creation of things, like the high school parking lot. It was like déjà vu because we were in a different country but they completely recreated the parking lot from the school we shot at before.

You also got a new director. What was it like working with Chris Weisz?

Michael: Chris was really great. Catherine [Hardwicke] was wonderful too, but they’re just totally different in terms of their style and their process. And I think that as a result, you’re going to end up with a film that just feels very different. I think that Chris made more of a conscious effort to have a visual cohesiveness in terms of how the film is going to look and feel with the vampires, the werewolves and the humans. Visually, it’s more stylistic. And as far as the way he likes to work on set, he’s just very calm and very clear-headed and intelligent. He knows what he wants and puts a lot into the preparation so by the time we get to the set it’s all sort of mapped out for us.

Christian: He’s really awesome. He’s very well-organized, well-spoken, fun and carefree - simultaneously. It’s incredible.

If you weren’t playing humans, which would you prefer to play: a vampire or a werewolf?

Anna: I would personally rather be a werewolf since they seem to get to have a lot more fun. The vampires are very cool, but they have to be very calm and collected all the time. The werewolves get to let loose a little bit more.

Michael: I’d much rather play a vampire. Being a vampire would be cool, I think, for the first 100 years or so. It’d be fun to be able to play because vampires are just too cool; they’re just sexy and interesting and complicated.

Christian: I’d play a wolf. I’d play Leah, ’cause she’s sassy.

The mood for New Moon is pretty bleak for a lot of the film. You guys represent the normal world for Bella, but you also provide a lot of comic relief.

Justin: Bella’s really depressed throughout the movie so we really have to bring light to it, otherwise it’s just too dark the whole time.

Michael: Our job is to add a little humour, add a little levity, and just come across as realistic kids in a small town in Washington.

Anna: And I think that there’s an inherent comedy in our blissful ignorance of everything that Bella is going through in the supernatural world.

Have any of your characters changed since Twilight?

Anna: Jessica’s still pretty self-involved. I would definitely say she hasn’t done a lot of personal growth between Twilight and New Moon. She does provide a level of silliness at a point where Bella is feeling pretty hopeless. I don’t know that she necessarily cheers up Bella, but hopefully it ends up providing a little bit of a break for the audience.

(Thanks Noor!)
