DETAILS ON 3 DISC DELUXE EDITION FROM TARGET

Yesterday when we posted our New Moon DVD guide, Target had not yet released the details of their 3rd disc of special features. Well today Target has released what exactly you will find on that bonus 3rd disc. Read more below:

Available Only at Target – The Twilight Saga New Moon 3 Disc Deluxe Edition DVD with Bonus Collectible Film Cell. Included in this edition are the Standard Edition 2-Disc DVD plus a exclusive third disc of over 50 minutes of never before seen content and an exclusive bonus collectible film cell. Target Exclusive 3rd Disc content includes: Deleted Scenes, Introducing the Volturi Featurette, Frame by Frame: From Storyboard to Screen Featurette, Fandamonium: A Look at the Die Hard Fans, and The Beat Goes On: The Music of New Moon Featurette. Exclusive Bonus Collectible Film Cell is an authentic reproduction of a cell from the filming of the Twilight Saga: New Moon contained within a beautiful glossy photo. Each is individually numbered with goal foil lettering and measures approximately 5X7. Film Cell included will be one of 250 available collectible cells.

It sounds great, and I’ll probably buy it, but I’m bummed that there’s no digital download!

the blu-ray is actually only two discs. the normal blu-ray that’s available everywhere is 1 disc because all the bonus features on the 2nd DVD disc are on the 1st blu-ray disc because of all the extra space blu-rays have. so the Target exclusive blu-ray edition is actually 2 discs, the normal one and then the bonus.

sanity.com.au also has a bonus disc, but it’s probably just some of these. i think the twilight bonus disc last year was just some of the stuff from target.

@ Angela: Walmart will be the only retailer to carry The Twilight Saga: New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition on standard DVD and Blu-ray (which contains the never-before-seen footage from the upcoming feature film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.)

Hopefully someone will put this stuff online…I live in Toronto & it doesn’t ship to Canada. Seriously why don’t they make stuff like this available in Canada?

I have the 3 disc Twilight DVD from Target and I love it so the plan is to get this one as well! I think it’s unfair that there is no Eclipse footage included in this one! I was thinking about getting the one from Borders just because it looks awesome(the box and the pics)! But I will probably end up getting the one from Walmart too because Eclipse is my favorite of all the books and I NEED that footage to live LOL!

I got the 3 disk version from Target last year and loved it. I am bummed though that the street date shipping that was mentioned in the DVD review no longer seems to be an option, so I will probably stand in line like I did last year just to get it day of.
