The beautiful and talented Twilight ladies Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed both landed themselves a spot on Maxim’s 2009 Hot 100 list this year, with Reed coming in at #42 and Greene came in at #68. In their annual video coverage of the Hot 100 list, E! snagged a great new interview with Ashley where they asked her how it was making the list for the first time, how she liked being in Twilight, and more:

I really enjoyed this interview, but I enjoy any interview with Ashley. She is always so sweet and upbeat, and it’s very cool that she and Nikki made the list. I am, however, surprised that a) they weren’t higher up on the list, and b) that Kristen Stewart didn’t make the list at all. We have a beautiful cast and I’m surprised to see Kristen not recognized at all.

What did you think of this interview? Are you pleased to see that Nikki and Ashley made the list? Are you surprised that they’re not higher up and that Kristen was left out?

    i agree with you completely.
    when i first looked at this list they weren’t showing the top ten yet, and i hadn’t seen kristen yet on there so i just assumed that she would be in the top ten cause well, she deserves and is hot duhhh.
    i don’t understand, this list has to correlate with the persons status in the entertaniment/sport or whatever industry, if they’ve been in the tabliods, big movie hits, new cds, etc. you get my drift, things like that go into effect for maxin top 100 im sure, and since TWILIGHT being one of the most talked about, followed, stalked, watched, movie in this past year, wouldn’t it make since that kristen WOULD be on this list, and WOULD be on the top ten..and of course the list should have included at least rachelle laferve and christian serratos as well..and they all should have been in the top 50 too.

    well, lol thats just what i think =] ..maybe next year, they’ll be smarter.

    I don’t think these women are ranked. Hello, Beyonce number 52 and Angelina Jolie is number 26. I think instead it is just a list of 100 gorgeous women. I also think that Kristen Stewart wasn’t on it because right now she is Bella and Bella isn’t exactly a sex symbol, hopefully she will be on it as “Bella” when the fourth movie comes out because Bella is really comes into her looks in Breaking Dawn.

    It is great that Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene are on the list but it is also good that AnnaLynne McCord is on the list because she is basically an honorary member of the Twilight family.

    True, why isn’t Kristen Stewart on the list. I mean she is after all the lead role in the twilight movies. She is pretty good actress, isn’t she?

    I don’t get the Niki appeal at all because she is not beautiful or nice or natural but Ashley is totally beautiful, inside and out. I don’t care for Kristen either. They could have found a better Bella. Ashley is the perfect Alice.

    So, this list is called: The definitive list of the world’s most beautiful women.
    I my opinion , there are some on that list that should not be there, sorry, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Avril Lavigne, Emma Watson, ????? This is only my opinion and I don’t mean to offend.
    Of course Angelina as always is on the list, I think she should be higher….
    I am happy Ashley and Nikki have made the list , but also a bit disappointed Kristen is not.
    I have seen some sexy photos of Kristen. I don’t know how they choose this list but Emma Watson?? and no Kristen Stewart????

    well I’m happy to see that ashely gree made the lsit. I think ahsely sohudl be ghihger up beucase hs is ogerosu and tlaend and soem of the owemn they haup there were sleexy. I’m happy niki made hter lsit. but kisritne should be up there too.

    I totally agree they should hav made the top ten + kristen should be on the list too! i lov Ashley she rocks and am soo jelous of her as she gets to play Alice!!!!

    Kristen isn’t on the list because she’s not hot. She’s pretty in a sort a way, I guess, but she doesn’t have a voluptuous bangin’ body like Nik or an absolutely drop-dead gorgeous face like Ashley. If you saw Kristen in the mall, and she wasn’t famous, you wouldn’t look twice.

    There is a very weird animosity towards Kristen and I’m not imagining it. As Bella she is the clumsy, ordinary teenager and for some odd reason it seems that the “Powers that be” try to keep ignoring her as Kristen. She IS really young and shy and sometimes that shyness can be interpreted as snooty or opinionated but so what regarding the opinionated part! All of Hollywood is opinionated so she fits right in. So she doesn’t come off as the “warmest” person. That happens when you’re shy. AND she’s GORGEOUS, so what the heck?

    I watched a youtube video (with the cast) that was taped by an fan – an amateur, and EVERY time a question was posed to Kristen the girl with the camera said the rudest most condescending things about Kristen. It was a real eye opener.

    I love Ashley – we all do I believe. She’s so Alice. =)

    I was happy to see Nikki and Ashley too and agree that they should have been higher up! Half of those girls I’ve never even heard of! Kristen not being on there is crazy and her playing Bella shouldn’t matter anyway Emma Watson is on there and characters she plays are not “sexy”! She better be on it next year! :-)

    They should've made the top ten.Ashley Greene is an amazing actress, and Nikki Reed is cool, too.Awesome Rosalie and Alice.Kristen(Bella)should've been on there, too!
