‘ECLIPSE’ FILMING UPDATE: BARN SET

We have a filming update from the set of Eclipse! Crews were set up outside of a big, red barn this week as filming started. Rumor has it that they are working on characters’ back-stories and legends. Here we have a picture where they are filming by a barn:

Lainey Gossip had this to say about the scene:

Shooting began yesterday on Eclipse – am told exclusively that they filmed scenes involving “Jasper & Maria” in a dessert dream sequence that takes place in Texas from way back in the old days, like the 1800s. Jackson’s been training on horseback and so far they say he’s looking pretty comfortable.

I am thrilled to see that Eclipse is indeed filming now. It is exciting to hear that we will get a real glimpse into Jasper’s life before the Cullens. I can’t believe we get to be excited about New Moon and Eclipse at the same time right now.

    OMG! THANK GOD! JASPER! I was so mad that they never said anything about jaspers abilityin Twilight, but in eclipse it seems that they are working hard to keep it the same! that mean training sessions with jasper, the party scene, how are they gonna make him all scared and mark up from the new born vamps!? SQUEEEE!!! Im SOOO Excited!

    I guess it’s a good thing bring in some of Jasper’s background, it is after all mentioned in some detail, but, there are so many scenes between Bella, Edward and Jacob in Eclipse that are some of my favorites of all the books, and I hope those aren’t sacrificed.

    I don’t believe that is correct that Rosalie killed Royce in a barn. I remember some secure place, almost a lockup, that had guards outside. Of course she killed them as well. Royce was a rich boy, I can’t see him spending anytime in a barn.

    Of course seeing these sort of photos is torture. We have a YEAR before we will see Eclipse. Yeah, a YEAR!

    The barn will most likely be in the background of Jasper meeting Maria and her two companions. He was changed into a vampire on a country road heading out of a town that they were securing during a war. I guess the other thought could be they’ll show him after he’s changed into a vampire and he and Maria are creating newborns to battle other clans in the south – again…red barn would be apropos.

    Creamy is dead on – Rosalie kills Royce King in a highly guarded location given he’s scared to death of his dead wife!

    im so happy they’re includingg jaspers background in this, its one of my favorite parts in the book &
    creamy, rosalie kills royce at α bank in α safe & the movie comes out in june not in α year.
