‘ECLIPSE’ FILMING UPDATE: FORKS HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA AND MORE FROM DAVID AND GIL

We have more fun Eclipse updates for you tonight. We have a great shot from annechantal of the cafeteria getting set up for Eclipse. We also have tweets from David Slade and Gil Birmingham as they work on Eclipse.

I have to say again, I love these updates from those cast and crew who are involved with the Twilight Saga movies. It makes it so much fun to get little glimpses of where they are in the story.

Addicted to Edward

Wow…I wonder how long Eclipse is going to be? We’ve heard about a lot of scenes already. Let’s see… (some speculation based on photos, interviews, etc.)
* graduation
* Jake/Edward/Bella confrontation at Forks High School
* Jake kidnaps Bella from Forks High School
* Edward and Bella in the meadow
* Jasper’s flashback
* Rosalie’s flashback
* Billy Black telling legends at the bonfire
* Jake/Edward/Bella in the tent
* Jake carrying Bella to the tent
* the fight scene, of course
* one or more scenes at Forks High School cafeteria
* scene with Emily, Sam, and Bella (and probably more wolves)

Scenes not from the book:
* newborn vamps in Seattle
* Victoria and Reilly in Seattle
* newborn vamps rising out of the water

Leah and Seth have been cast so there will be scenes with them too. Given the publicity, Bree must have speaking lines, which means some of the Volturi will be showing up.

Did I miss any scenes that were mentioned as being filmed or rehearsed? We’re what, almost half-way through shooting? I’m sure the fight scenes will take a bunch of time to film.

Oh I can’t wait for the bonfire legend! It’s so powerfully told in the book and I can just picture Gil doing a great job as Billy telling it in the movie:) Eclipse is so my fave book in the series so I’m glad they’re putting all this stuff in:)

Didn’t they mention doing the “wedding” at the end of Eclipse to rather than the beginning of Breaking Dawn?? That would set it up nicely to do BD then…. they would almost have to!!

Wow i totally forgot about the legend telling scene! Sounds great! But WHAT! Who said they were doing the wedding in eclipse??! NOOO they have to stick to the books!

Actually, I’d be okay with them doing the wedding at the end of Eclipse instead of the beginning of BD, but only if the wedding is going to get enough screen time, if they cheat us out of our wedding scene I’ll be so mad. That said, there’s so much going on in BD that they’d almost have to cheat us out of the wedding to fit it all in, which I’m so not cool with
