‘ECLIPSE’ FILMING UPDATE: IT’S A WRAP!

David Slade tweeted from his account early this morning, letting us know that the filming for Eclipse has officially ended. That’s right, they’re done filming Eclipse! The movie now moves into post-production, where they work on putting it all together. Check out David’s tweet below:

Well what do you think? Can you believe they’re done filming Eclipse? As we move into full speed ahead and are seeing the commercials for New Moon on tv, it’s just boggles the mind that they just finished on Eclipse. It almost feels sad that they’re done, we need to hear something official on Breaking Dawn!

    WOW!!! Done already?!!!! that seems really quick!!! I mean that’s a good thing, but I am a little worried because they just started filiming me in August and finished in October? I mean don’t get me wrong, its worth it the end if it comes together beautifully (which I am sure it will!!!!), but that just seemed extremely quick to me. Guess that means that it will be better because they spent all this time in post production. But, it just seemed fast to me. I think even with New Moon being filmed in a short time filmed longer. but, I am rooting for David to do a good job, which I am sure he will!!!! SO BRING ON NEW MOON AND ECLIPSE!!!!!!!

    hey aretha, funny we sorta share the same name. anyways they were doing 14 hrs days at a pop so i think he had enough time.

    I wonder if they will release the film earlier than July 30, 2010, now that the film is moving into post-production work. I would LOVE it if they moved up the release date!!I can’t WAIT to see how Eclipse turns out!

    P.S. Since New Moon is being released on November 20 (and Twilight was released on November 19, 2008), I will betcha anything that it will be released on DVD right around my birthday-March 18-like Twilight was-March 21, 2009). Any thoughts, twilighters?

    I just started reading Breaking Dawn again and I am dying to hear something official about the movie. I think they should do it in 2 movies like they’re doing with Harry Potter.

    Oh! thank you for explaining that to me Oretha! I was just mainly going by Davids Tweets. But that makes sense. We do almost have the same name!! that strange bc i never knew or met anyone who had the same name as me, much less a spelling that’s close to mine!!! I find that very interestin!!!

    WOW! It feels like shooting just started yesterday! I am so excited for New Moon and now Eclipse also. I can’t wait for confirmation on Breaking Dawn. They had to have at least signed actors by now, I think, because of schedules, Summit has to make sure they make time for it.

    OMG this is crazy! I cant believe theyre done filming. New Moon isnt even out yet! And we need to hear about BD peoples! I hope well start seeing a trailer or two for Eclipse soon!!!

    OMG!!!!!!! THeY”VE FINISHED!!!!! ALREADY????? wow!!!! that is soooooo not fair! now i’m going to be soooo excited abt new moon AND eclipse!!! not that i wasn’t already but the fact that it is official that they’ve finished is CRAZY!
