‘ECLIPSE’ FILMING UPDATE: MORE FROM GRADUATION, JASPER, JESSICA, ANGELA, MIKE AND ERIC

We have yet another Eclipse filming update to bring you tonight from Lainey Gossip. Yesterday as we know, they were filming the graduation scenes from the book. Don’t worry we aren’t going to post the actual scene shots here, just glimpses at some of your favorite characters. We get a peek at Jasper, Jessica, Angela, Mike and Eric.

First we have Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale:

Next we have Anna Kendrick as Jessica Stanley and Justin Chon and Michael Welch as Eric Yorkie and Mike Newton:

Last we have a great shot of Justin Chon, Michael Welch and Christian Serratos as Eric Yorkie, Mike Newton and Angela Weber:

I think I’ll reserve judgment on Jasper, I’m not quite sure what to think yet. As for Mike, Eric and Jessica, they’re exactly what I would picture.

    im not liking jasper much in this but i guess ill wait until i see some actual footage to judge the humans look great though!

    I’m a little hesitant about Jasper. Normally, I’d LOVE those glasses…but not for Jasper. Same for the hat. It just doesn’t flow. It’s like he looks like a Southern boy from the neck down, but not from the neck up. Just doesn’t gel. Everyone else looks fabulous though.

    Hmmm. Wonder if Jackson’s just wearing his own hat and sunny’s on his way to shoot the scene? Merely speculation on my part of course but hey, it’s a Jack/sper pic with that incredible smile-I’m not gonna complain!!!!

    i dont think jasper is shooting the graduation scenes though..hes already graduate in new moon with emmet n rosalie
    well thats what i thought since they add he n alice in field trips maybe they’ll change some scenes here in eclipse

    The hat and the sunglasses are probably Jackson’s. I don’t think that Jackson would have those on if he were playing Jasper at that moment. The actors know too much about the characters to do that.

    ahahahahahaha oh jackson. i really culd care less about the outfit (lol Emmy your right) but its the hair thats killing me, thats all i really care about. it seems to have a change in every movie. it was good in twilight, fine in new moon (frm wat ive seen) but this willy wonka johnny depp thing will make me lmao

    What the hell is up with Jackson??? Yes, i appreciate all the comments about how the hat and sunnies are Jacksons and the clothing is jasper’s. lets just hope so… but why is Jasper Hale at the graduation? correct me if im wrong, but doesnt it imply in the book that only carlisle and esme are there with alice and edward at the graduation ceremony? hang on, let me just check… nup, it doesnt say anything about the other cullens being at graduation. but that could even mean that carlisle and esme werent even there. well, only Stephenie Meyer could tell us. also, why am i speculating about something so small and slightly insignificant? ill just shut up now…

    what has happened to jasper?!. i know with different directors come different visions, but they could keep similiar looks at least. I hope that is not new Jasper’s hairdo, vamps can’t grow their hair for crying aut loud. as for the humans, they look spot on

    I bet that outfit is for Jasper’s flashback of meeting Alice. That would explain the sunglasses, hiding his red eyes.

    I feel very very confident that the hat and sunglasses are Jackson. Possibly even the outfit, because think about it.. Jasper wouldn’t dress like that. It just doesn’t look like a Cullen to me, and it just seems Alice would have him in a nice V neck or sweater. And he would only be dressed as a southern gentlemen in flashback scenes, not graduation. So maybe Jackson is just on set, but not really filming in the scene?

    And I think you all are not worrying about the most important thing here- WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THAT HAIR? That is not Jackson’s hot mess or Jasper’s lovable blonde curls.

    AHHHH WHAT DID THEY DO TO JASPER? I agree with alexandracullen – I love the New Moon Jasper and if this is the Eclipse Jasper I am sadly disappointed… I’m confident, though, that this is Jackson and Jasper in an odd mix and not what emmy said… Jasper as Willy Wonka…

    I’m sure that’s not how Jasper would look in the movie, because…just look at his hair, so that ones r Jackson!

    Honestly I doubt that’s “Jasper” and as for the hair…. ANYTHING is better than that crappy wig they put on him in New Moon.

    Well they all look wonderful, except for Jasper…at first I thought it was Johnny Depp!!! Lol….I think maybe the glasses and the hat are just what Jackson was wearing to walk to where he was going to go. We won’t know for sure until official images come out I guess. I wouldn’t get worked up about it. =) His actual outfit looks pretty cool! I love Mike, Eric, Jessica, and Angela’s look! =D

    I agree the humans look REALLY GOOD! Jackson/Jasper is another story. I cannot imagine he would be filmed in the hat and sun glasses. Hair does not go with the film either. He is adorable even if he does not “match”. Getting more and more anxious for NM and now Eclipse. :)

    I really hope they aren’t rushing through the filing of Eclipse. I have a bad feeling it isn’t going to be as good as New Moon looks. And hello??? Bella did not wear jeans to her freakin graduation. She wore a sweater and skirt outfit that Alice bought for her. Can we stick to the book please?!
