‘ECLIPSE’ FILMING UPDATE: THE CARS IN ‘ECLIPSE’

ARGH!! i cant believe there is a BLACK volvo!!! Edwards volvo is SILVER!! if David Slade changes the color of Edward’s Volvo i will get REALLY MAD!!!! A lot of angry Twilighters including me will go a attack him personally. lol. but seriously! you just cant change the color of edwards car!! it is already set in stone in the books!! i just hope that it will be silver!!!

on a happier note: I am so excited!!!! they have chariles police car and Alice’s canary yellow Porshe!!! I can’t wait for ECLIPSE!!!

I was thinking the same thing Grace, but on a side note: Are we sure that’s the exact car they will be using in the movie? It could be (doubtful, but possible) one of the crew members’ cars or something… Just sayin’! Here’s to hoping he doesn’t change a good thing… and well… Just here’s hopin’!!!

I agree with Grace Cullen. Why not just change the car brand while they’re at it? Or how about they change all the characters names? It looked like the jeep was black too. That is so stupid. David Slade, wanting everything dark, I bet. jk, but still. you can’t change things or people will be mad. Mad and obsessive are not good together. Maybe it’s about time Slade learned that.

I am still annoyed that David Slade has ruined Bella’s wig. Just looks SO odd. Must he change everything. Now the fundamental part of Edward Cullens image has been edited. A BLACK VOLVO – proposterous.

Erenn- You bring up a good point. We have no idea if the pictures of the cars accidentally included a crew member’s car too. We have no idea who the dark Volvo belongs to right now.

I really hope they don’t change the color of Edward’s car. And also, I do not like how Bella’s hair looks. Why can’t they just keep things consistent????

This is Nicole again. I was looking through some of the other Eclipse set pictures and Rob and Kristen are next to what looks like a silver Volvo.

Guys be cool.it just may be an extra car. There are cars they need for regular shots too that don’t involve the main cast.

I’m sorry you’re worried about about the Volvo which is a bid deal but it’s lines like this that are becoming forgotten, “The Porsche. It’s exactly like the one I stole in Italy.” ^^ there is no Turbo written in cursive on the back of that car, in fact I checked the shots from the New Moon movie and they even have a Turbo. So what is David Slade and the art department doing to this movie?

WHAT IS GOING ON? This is not even the right make of Edward’s car. In the movie,he had a C30,and in the book, it was a S60R. This dumb blue or black thing is XC5O.And the worst part is,the license plate says,WASHINGTON. They are filming in Vancouver,so I doubt it’s any ones car but Edward’s.The least they could have done was get a silver one.NOW I’M SCARED!!!!!!

Ok, Edward’s Volvo is the wrong color and the name of the Indian Tribe in La Push is spelling incorrectly on the bus. What the HELL???

I REALLY hope they dont change the colour of Edward’s car! That would just like totally destroy the character of the cars for the whole series!!! Lets just PRAY that it is one of the crew’s cars or something! On a brighter note, (much, MUCH brighter ) ALICE’S CAR IS AWESOME. Wow, its so… pretty I want it!

You guys.. I highly doubt that Volvo is Edwards.. because it’s an XC90.. which is an SUV.. no way would they give him an entirely different car.

I hope they don’t change the color of his car, it’s really a simple thing to keep consistent considering it’s in all the books. I wouldn’t mind much if they were to change the type of volvo he was driving, as long as it was still silver.

I think that they changed the color/make of the car so that they can get some money from Volvo for promoting the new one.
