Back in August at the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con, Hollywood Chicago had the chance to sit down and speak a bit with Julia Jones, who we all know and love as Leah Clearwater in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. In the short new interview, Julia talks about how surreal it is to have been cast in the Twilight Saga films, how she connects with her Native American blood, and more.

HollywoodChicago.com: What has been the most surreal element of being put into The Twilight Saga spotlight?

Jones: For me, just how fast everything changed. I feel sometimes like I’m on a low-grade drug all the time. It’s just that my new reality is different, there is so much more energy hurled at you on a daily basis than before.

HollywoodChicago.com: Did you ever stop at some point, look around and think ‘how did I get here?’

Jones: I would say with Twilight I do it on a weekly basis. [laughs]

Entertainment Tonight has published a whole list of movies in their ‘Pop Culture Movie Moments of 2010′ and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse made the list! Check out their description below:

‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ (June 30) – Twi-hards continued to line up in droves, beginning with midnight screenings, to drink in the third chapter of the Stephenie Meyer vamps vs. werewolves saga this summer. The world got plenty of shirtless shots of Taylor Lautner, not to mention the big-screen ‘Twilight’ parody ‘Vampires Suck.’

Salt Lake Magazine has a new interview with Eclipse’s newborn vampire, Jodelle Ferland. Jodelle talks about her experience working on Eclipse, balancing school and filming and what it’s like to celebrate birthdays while filming. Read more below:

BH: “How has your life changed since Eclipse?”

JF: “Well, my life has changed quite a bit, and in a lot of ways it stays the same. I’m still just, you know, a normal girl who enjoys hanging out with friends doing regular things. But, I mean I wouldn’t be here if it hadn’t been for Twilight. I’ve been doing all sorts of conventions, meeting a lot of fans. It’s just so much fun.”

BH: “Do you have any memorable moments from being on Eclipse?”

JF: “Well, I think honestly the whole movie was pretty memorable. Actually, I did have my 15th birthday on set, so that was pretty cool.”

BH: “Did you get a cake?”

JF: “Yeah I did. I had a birthday cake on set. And I mean that is pretty much every girls dream to have,” she smiles and laughs, “a birthday party on the set of Twilight. I was so happy that I got to do that. That was really fun.”
