E ONLINE: NEW MOON MAYBE – ANNALYNNE MCCORD FOR HEIDI?

E! Online: Another 90210-er may be making a stop in the Twilight zone.

I’m hearing that filmmakers have been considering the idea of casting 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord as Heidi in the upcoming New Moon, the much-anticipated sequel to Twilight.

Heidi isn’t a major character in the book, but McCord definitely has the gorgeous looks to pull it off.

The character is a “fisher” who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She’s also known as “bait” because of the way she uses her stunning looks to attract humans. In her brief appearance in the book, Bella describes Heidi as having “exceptional, unforgettable” beauty. She has stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.

Sources tell me McCord has auditioned for the role. “It’s not a big part,” one of the sources said. “Heidi would be more like a cameo.”

Director Chris Weitz is expected to start shooting the flick with Robert Pattinson & Co. next month in Washington state and Italy with a Nov. 20 release date. Summit has yet to make any major new casting announcements for New Moon. However, as I exclusively reported, Dakota Fanning is in serious talks to play Jane.

I kinda thought Megan Fox had more of the sexy sultry look that Heidi has. I haven’t seen her work, but she definitely has the looks to draw men in like in the book.

Annalynne is gorgeous and she’s got the ferocius stare down so she could own this part for sure. She’s not a very good actress though but that doesn’t really matter since this role is so small.

No. NO NO NO. she doesn’t fit how i imagined Heidi at all. I don’t know why they keep going for the ‘well known/ known’ actors/actresses. even if it is a small part, it all affects the movie in the end. I don’t want it to become too glitzy glamoured.

so summed up (lol) AnnaLynne McCord is a NO NO.

Meh, I don’t watch the show either way. So to me she would be an unknown. And if she’s dating Kellan, then I say yay. At least he will be happy with his girlfriend on set. It’s a very small role and is not going to impact the movie either way. I would rather not have Meghan Fox.

This makes perfect sense considering her and Kellen Lutz are supposedly dating. They are in 90210 together. I think that she is a pretty good actress and really beautiful. And she can play evil really well. Great decision.

There’s something about Annalynne that creeps me out personally, but it’s that creepiness combined with her sex appeal that I think would work for Heidi.

I cant stand Annalynne Mccord – she plays that horrible backstabbing, character on the show Nip Tuck. It seems, every show she is on, she always play the part of a murderer, the other woman or just a mean person. I would hate to see her face associated with Twilight and ruin my perception of my beloved movie.

it drives me crazy that these hollywood it people are trying to latch on to the twilight series now that it’s proven profitable. I don’t care that she’s most likely dating kellan (jealous? yes. care? no.) but i think fawn is right. It’s all about her having the same representation as kellan and ashley.

Definitely, nay!!! I can’t imagine her in a role of Heidi. Heidi is supposed have breathtaking beauty and AnnaLynne McCord so doesn’t fit that description. Sorry! Megan Fox would be so much better choice.

Okay, WAIT A MINUTE!!! At the end of this article it says that “new moon is set to begin filming at the end of march in WASHINGTON STATE…” Umm…I thought they’re filming in VANCOUVER B.C.!!! They’re NOT filming here in Washington State!!!! (I live here and have spoken to the filming dept. at the Portland Mayor’s office!!) Please tell me things haven’t changed!! I’ve go reservations up in Vancouver B.C. to check out the possible filming locations there!! UGH!!
