i thought of it WAY differently..more long than wide..and alot more trees actually surrounding, considering all the shadows Jacob appears out of and jumps into..but oh well.
I didn’t expect it to look so secluded and woodsy. I thought the cliffs near the beach would be behind his house. It’s funny how we each have a certain vision in our heads of how things should look.

i pictured it to look kinda like that but the house was long, and the front yard was huge, like it had a longggg dirt drive way you had to drive up to get to his house and with a tree out the front but to the side, but its the right color!
Does Bella’s truck look different? Did they get a new truck for the movie?
WOW, Let me say it again, WOW! This is so Jacob’s house. It is amazing how much it looks like my perception of Jacob’s house. It makes it all so very real and I am excited to see the realization of our second book come to the movie world. New Moon was not my favorite book, of course not–Edward was gone and I am team Edward all the way. This is a very good start so I will be curious to see what is next and will be watching closely.

This is not how I picture id at all. I pictured it much smaller because remember it was meant to be a tight fit for barely any people.
The house is not at all how I pictured it. Oh well, story of my life so far.

I thought of Jacob’s house as MUCH smaller.
How does Billy have a truck? I know he was somehow driving one in Twilight, even though he was still in wheelchair, but I had hoped Chris Weitz would follow the book better with this movie.
Billy never owned a truck, or drove any vehicle in the book. Hmmm.
As far as the house, I think they came pretty close. Bella described it as looking like a tiny barn, but this is definitely creates the same atmosphere.
The house looks crappy a little but i guess it is ok 4 jacob’s background.
Ahh! This is SO very exciting, I can’t for the actual movie site to come out and a REAL trailer!!! *squeal*
WOW, definitely not what i pictured his house looking like AT ALL!! oh well, i didn’t picture bella’s house looking the way it did in the movie, and i ended up loving it, and besides, i think everyone sort of has their own idea of what the houses look like, what the people look like, what the cars look like, it’s just that everyone has a different imagination, so of course there will be clashing of opinions for when it’s made into the real thing, but they did a great job with twilight, so i have absolutely no concerns with the making of new moon, chris weitz seems like a really creative and smart guy, and i think it’s going to be absolutely amazing!! CAN’T WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER!!!

This is so close to how I pictured Jacob’s house, only in my mind the door was on the side, not the front like that…still Chris is doing pretty good IMO, I think I might actually be happy with this film…

OMG, thats so cool. U no what else is cool, I just found out that one of my friends cousins is playing Emily in New Moon! That is so freaking sweet its not even funny! And he told me he could get his cousing to maybe ask for some autographs! AHHHHH!!!!

why didn’t they keep billy’s truck from the first movie? this one looks too much like bella’s - aside from the better pain job, and one or two other details. personally, i think this all looks pretty good. for some reason, i kept thinking that billy and jacob lived in something more similar to a double-wide…
Just remember what they can add in post production…like more trees around the house and the cliffs and such… the magic of editing..

That’s freaky I imagined the exact same house but with a porch. Stephanie Meyer did a really good job at describing everything and the director seems to be very good at seeing her vision. Awesome choice for location!
Wow! The house is so close to what I had pictured in my mind for Jacob’s house! The shed, not so much, but it looks better than what I I pictured in my mind. They did a great job!
More trees! Was the garage/shed a distance from the house? I wonder if anyone put on muscle weight lately?

no!!! the house should have been surrounded by more trees!!!!! and it should have been way smaller!!! ugh, whatever….story of my life that people keep messing up…
I have been to Forks / La Push- and actually on the Quileute reservation there are like no trees-every thing is very open- at least in the part I saw with a lot of houses- because they were literally a stone’s throw from the edge of the Pacific ocean. But there are probably some houses somewhere that have few trees-and I think the few trees that are near this set house will make for better visual appeal than none at all. There are tons of trees on the way there on La Push road- where in Eclipse Bella drives her motorcycle in the rain because she’s mad/hurt by Jacob’s comment that she would be better off dead- anyhow- I think this house fits the bill.
It’s not how I pictured it at the beginning of New Moon, but, haha, funny thing, it’s almost exactly how I pictured it at the end!

this is great guys, the house isn’t QUITE as small as needed but, remember they need to fit camera crew inside… unless u wanna see them through windows. Which that is how small Steph has described jakes house. Lets have lots of confidence in this one!

i pictured it totaly different!!! exactally the opposite it was bright…right next to the beach with loads of trees around it!!kinda like a forest! i really want new moon to come out peoples!!!! i am dying of bordom here because ive finished the series and ma sis wont let me borrow them anymore!!grrrr

Pictures are great but I did imagine the road being a little father from the house and more trees around. Other than that its just how I pictured everything.
I pictured it with a few rickety wooden steps leading to the front door with a small covered area (like an awning) over the door step. Where’s the shed? Attached to the house? I pictured the shed away from the house, through some trees…that’s how they snuck around to hide the bikes.

Hey the house looks so cool! I see it almost every day with a security gaurd standing in the front! I think it’s so cool that even though the books say it’s in Forks, Washington it’s being filmed in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada and Jacob’s house is being filmed on the coner of Edward St. and Victoria St., Port Coquitlam, Canada!
(What a coinsedence! Edward St.(character in movie) and Victoria St. (another character in movie!) are where they are filming!!!!!!! OMG!
this is exactly how I pictured jakes house; but I imagined a gravel road (maby thats just an aussi thing) oh well…

I pictured it way different but it still looks like jacob’s house it’s absolutely PERFECT
in my mind i dont know why the house was like brown( i really dont know why cuz is red) and it was small window beside the door and stairs, and the road was something like that but with a lot of little rocks and the beach was very close .. but it co cool … in my mind is like i imagine the movie ,even the characters! im crazy!

I started off not really caring about the movie, I saw it but had never read the books, my friend had Twilight and I borrowed it and then proceeded to get the next 3 within like 5 days and read them all. Lol. Now that Ive seen Twilight again THERES SO MUCH MISSING!….and wrong!…I really hope the next 3 stick a little closer to the book, now that i love the series. And not everyone has to be a teenager to like this Im 22….23 next week, closer to the actor;s ages anyway…lol. I really hope these movies portray the book a lot better.
