FAN SITE FRIDAYS: NEW INTERVIEWS WITH GIL BIRMINGHAM AND CHASKE SPENCER
Welcome back to another edition of Fan Site Friday! If you’re unaware, each Friday for the past few weeks (and for the next few weeks), we’ve been sharing a special bit of our New Moon movie set coverage with you. Our first edition we shared our exclusive New Moon movie set report (view it here), our second edition we provided you with our interview with New Moon movie producer Wyck Godfrey (check it out here), and today we have two new interviews for you! Our first is a short new interview with Gil Birmingham (Billy Black) and our second comes from New Moon movie newcomer Chaske Spencer (Sam Uley).

In these new interviews, Gil and Chaske touch on subjects like the difference in production from Twilight to New Moon, how it has been working with Chris Weitz and bonding with the rest of the cast, the meaning of the wolf pack tattoo, and more.
For our interview with Gil, we’ve provided an audio recording and transcription of the short interview. As always, Gil was amazingly personable and kind while speaking to us entirely decked out in his Billy Black attire. Unfortunately, we were unable to record our interview with Chaske, but the transcription we’ve provided is made up of a collection of notes taken from the six fan sites in attendance. Chaske was incredibly nice and generous, especially considering the absolutely freezing temperatures and the fact that his scenes called for him to wear nothing but dark shoes and a pair of shorts that landed just above the knee.
View BOTH interviews from Gil Birmingham and Chaske Spencer here.
Make sure to check in again with us next week – we have another great interview for you with one of the New Moon movie cast members!
