FAN TRIPS: VAMPIRE BASEBALL EVENT INFORMATION AND CAST LINEUP
If you haven’t heard, Fan Trips Travel has an awesome new Twilight event happening this July called “Vampire Baseball” where you can join the cast and crew as they take the field to play some ‘vampire baseball’! Fan Trips has just announced the amazing lineup for their event, which you can read below:
Fan Trips™.Travel announces the full cast line-up for the Vampire Baseball™ game on July 4th in Portland, Oregon (to benefit the Make-a-Wish® Foundation of Oregon). This star-studded July 4th celebration will include Rachelle Lefevre, Edi Gathegi, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Michael Welch, Christian Serratos, Solomon Trimble, Alex Meraz, Ayanna Berkshire and Catherine Grimme. Tickets go on sale May 15, Friday through TicketMaster.TwilightLive will be on hand to produce a live podcast during the action-filled day’s festivities. Prices start at $49 per person for the Vampire Baseball™ game. The Premium Package is available for $135, and includes: a ticket to the Vampire Baseball™ game in Premium Seating, an autograph from one of the participating cast members, a ticket to the Portland Beavers vs Colorado Springs Sky Sox game at night where Rachelle Lefevre will throw the first ball to open the game, dinner during the evening game, and Fourth of July fireworks. There is limited availability for the Premium Package.
While there are no assigned seat numbers for the game, groups can sit together if at least 50 persons in your group purchase tickets in one section. So grab your fansite friends, school or work buddies and come on out to the ballpark in support of a great cause at an affordable price! Rachelle Lefevre sends this message to fans: “Hey Twilight fans! Really looking forward to seeing you at the event on July 4th for an amazing Independence Day celebration. You can root for whoever you want but remember, I’m the one with the wicked curve-ball!â€

This event sounds awesome! I think it’s great how it’s not just any old convention, but that you get to watch the cast play some vampire baseball. Of course, that’s everyone’s favorite scene from the film, so be able to watch that, see some of your favorite cast, and benefit Make-a-Wish? Perfection. I hope everyone makes the effort to attend this event!
