I thought the remake of the trailer was done really well. I liked the effects that they used in the video as well and the beat of the song went along perfectly!

It’s the same thing we have seen time and time again. Only this time, they added an annoying song to it. But, the effects, as you said, we’re nice.
The constant flashing light and too-quick changing from scene to scene didn’t work for me. I want to be able to see more than five seconds at a time.
The effects were nice, but the song overpowered the whole thing.
hated it..i love new moon but this trailer was horrible. and the song…..ugh!!! terrible!! no!! take it off
I agree with creamy, the constant flashing and cut outs were annoying, as was the upbeat music, it doesn’t fit the mood of the movie ….for me anyway.
am i the only one that liked it then?

I have said for months that Imogen Heap’s song “Hide and Seek” would be perfect for New Moon… but NOT this version…. it’s annoying and too upbeat. The original is heart-wrenching and it makes you want to cry. It’s about having what you want torn away from you because someone else thinks it is what’s best… “Mmhm… it’s what you said, that it’s all for the best.” The world around you keeps working properly but your world stops in it’s tracks. I liked the effects in the video… but not this version of an amazing song… I’m sad that it has been tainted now.

i agree! i think the orginal “hide and seek” by Imogen Heap would fit perfectly on New Moon! has anyone heard their version of “Hallejauh”? i think that would also fit well on the soundtrack. fellow twight fans, listen to that track and tell me if u agree! video was pretty good!
I found the song very annoying and had to turn the sound off to save my sanity.

THAT SONG WAS THE WORST ANYONE COULD HAVE PICKED FOR NEW MOON. well, maybe… u know. But it was hell annoying and it felt like it was taking the mickey out of the breakup scene. SO not worth watching! And the effects… hmm, no comment.
the song was annoying, the effects good. but it’s same old photage. i wish there was official 2nd trailer, i’ve seen it before bandslam, it was awesome. it got me confused, team edward or team jacob?
I like the effects, to a point. The song was all wrong though. And I didn’t like the fact that the end of the video is shown twice, one right after the other.

and i love the song i thought it fit really well. although i, personally relate better to upbeat songs with meaning than boring slow songs. i thought the effects were really good and it made me really excited to see the movie

NO WAY!!!! the song is to much…why would you even think the song matched the video???
If this were some hip- hop dance movie like “Step Up” then it would have been a good trailer. But it’s not. This movie is supposed to be full of angst and sorrow, Bella is supposed to be miserable! Not dancing to some up beat song that didn’t even go well at all with the trailer. I expected something dramatic– something that would go BEYOND anyones expectations, but I couldn’t even get through the first half of this. I really hope Stephenie Meyer DOESN’T see this, she will be in agony beyond Bella’s when Edward leaves her.
