FANTASY TWILIGHT TOUR – CONVENTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Amidst the TwiCons and TwiTours, we have a new Twilight Convention announcement to share with you today. This new Fantasy Twilight Tour is put on by Super Twilight Conventions, LLC and you can read the press release below for more information on dates, locations, etc.:

Super Twilight Conventions, LLC is proud to announce the launch of the Fantasy Twilight Tour, a Twilight themed celebrity convention that will tour the United States in 2009-2010. The tour will give fans the opportunity to gather with each other across the country to celebrate the series and meet the celebrities of the movies. Each stop on the Fantasy Twilight Tour will feature celebrity guests, bands, artists, vendors, Q&A’s, parties, contests, panels, fan films, photo shoots, video games and more.

The initial ten cities and the initial confirmed guest lists (which will be updated frequently) include the following:

1) Orlando, FL (Sept. 25-27, 2009)
Featuring: Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Alex Meraz (Paul), Edi Gathegi (Laurent), Justin Chon (Eric Yorkie), Gil Birmingham (Billy Black), Kimbra Hickey (Twilight Hand Model), Nova Echo (Musical Guests) and The Twilighters (Musical Guests).

2) Nashville, TN (Oct. 16-18, 2009)
Featuring: Justin Chon (Eric Yorkie), Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam Ulley), Tyson Houseman (Quil Ateara), Kimbra Hickey (Twilight Hand Model), Nova Echo (Musical Guests) and The Twilighters (Musical Guests).

3) Fort Lauderdale, FL (Dec. 4-6, 2009)
Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam Ulley), Gil Birmingham (Billy Black), Tinsel Korey (Emily), Kimbra Hickey (Twilight Hand Model), Nova Echo (Musical Guests) and The Twilighters (Musical Guests).

4) Baltimore, MD (Feb. 5-7, 2010)

10) Cincinnati, OH (May 21-23, 2010)

The convention hours of operation in each city are:

Friday: 4:00pm – 1:00am
Saturday: 10:00am – 1:00am
Sunday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Tickets are currently available online, pricing is as follows:

General Admission
Friday: $10, Saturday: $35, Sunday: $35
3 Day Weekend: $70
Silver Weekend Pass: $110
Gold Weekend Pass: $135
Platinum Weekend Pass: $295

    I went to the first Twilight Eyecon in Orlando this past May and it was VERY unorganized and the staff were pretty rude. The actors were so sweet, but it was just very rushed (as stated otherwise on the website….a lot of contradictions!) and not put together very well. Hopefully people who go this time around will have a better experience…I hope Eyecon got their act together!

    I also went to the EyeCon in Orlando in May and I thought it was pretty organized. Then again, I was front row with everything since I had the platinum ticket, so I was practically treated like royalty, haha.

    I’m definitely going to the one in Baltimore(: I bought my ticket three days ago. It’s first come, first serve, so I really hope a lot of people didn’t buy a ticket before me, so that I’m definitely in the front like last time!

    Ahh..nothing in/close to Nebraska!!
    There’s never ANYTHING Twilight related in the midwest. The closest is Colorado, and that’s still like a whole weekend or more of just driving there. :/ This sucks.
    I wanna go so badly..but I’d wanna go to one with Ashley Greene..love her! She’s my 2nd favorite vampire [Rob being 1st lmao]
    Well…yay for those who get to go. :]
    I guess I’ll just patiently hope soon that a big thing will come to the state in the middle of all the states! :P

    YESSSS DENVER!!!!! I WANNA GO SO BADDD!!!! where do we buy tickets? I have know since nov. 30th and so far i can not find where to buy them. every place says how muc hand where. WELL HOW MUCH!? not eventhe official twilight fantasy tour website (THE OFFICIAL ONES, WHO ARE SPONSORING THIS EVENT) are talkign about it. They were at first but i guess something happened it florida that messed everything up so they were preoccupied and not caring about the other states. I NEED TO GO. I HAVE TO GO. I WANT TO GO. SILVER TICKET PLEASE?! WHERE TO BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
