I think the bottom line to box office success is to listen to their audience and take our opinions seriously. We know the plot better then the overpayed grey suited gentleman at a board meeting. Stick to the plot line, dont fix what isnt broken. And basically dont ignore what we have to say because ultimately our pocket books are what makes the movie a success. We actually care for these characters. So mess with them and you mess with us. In the end, Summit treated us well and in return we returned the favor.
