Twilight La Fascination is the new Official French Twilight movie page. They have the trailer in French (and it’s hysterical).

CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE SITE AND WATCH THE TRAILER
thanks erica

I don’t know why, but I love these foreign language trailers. They give me a giggle every time. The Italian (click here for Italian trailer) one was great but I like this one better. James is hysterical – it looks real. Which one do you like better?

I think the French is better than Italian for the sole fact that the voices who dubbed it sound like they are the right age. The Italian Edward sounds like a late 20 something guy.

I agree- none of the voices (in my opinion) even remotely matched the characters in the Italian version of the trailer- which made it funnier, but if you really wanted to watch it, it sounded absolutely ridiculous. This trailer, however, actually sounded pretty believable- not as funny, but much better to actually watch/listen to. Although, i might be biased b/c im somewhat fluent in French so i could actually understand what they were saying, which may have been why the voices sounded better/more believable to me.

    I’m on French 2 honors and…sadly…I couldn’t get a SINGLE WORD right….It was…pathetic…REALLY helps your selfestieme…
BUT I honestly hated that they changed the voices (I know, i know, it’s french not english and I doubt the entire cast speaks fluent french with no accent). They should have it with subtitles!!! Thats way better…Well…I think it would be way better. And am I the only who noticed thats a different trailer than the two american ones??

  • Emilie

Ok im fluent in french and when i saw this trailer i freaked OUT its so badly translated like james says “she’s so appitising” like what??? and when he say ” tell him to avenge you!” in french he say’s ” ASK him to….” so ya im totally not seeing that in frenchin quebec im so glad they have it in english

  • VanessaC

ok, this is why i said “somewhat fluent” b/c i could understand what they were saying, but not well enough to realize that it was a bad translation… that basically sucks. And, bookluvrwriter, as far as for my personal preference, i agree w/you- i cant STAND movies with English dubbing, i would much rather watch a film w/English subtitles than listen to some unmatched English voices… but i know not everyone feels that way. So yeah, if French or Italian was my first language, i would definitely prefer subtitles to the awful dubbing… but like i said, maybe not everyone feels that way.

hey its mimi omg the book is like 100 times better in english it is not that well translatred into french

Oh my, since grade 1 the french voices have always been the same. You couldn’t tell the difference betweem Bella and Alice talking. That was really bad and the mouths would drive me crazy. I’m soooo glad my first language is English.

Emilie, I totally know what you mean. Bella was talking to Jacob after she fell of the bike and says in the English movie “you know you are kinda beautiful” but in french she says “you are magnificient”. I’m also fluent in french and that was so awful, I killed myself laughing the whole time. I feel so bad for them. I wanna see it in french though just for the laugh.
