On a little sidenote, the Hachette Book Group has also taken to the blog to clear up some ‘Midnight Sun’ sampler issues:
Thank you for voicing your concerns about the Midnight Sun sampler that has been appearing on eBay. The sampler was created for the release of The Host in the U.K. by the U.K. publisher with Stephenie’s consent. It contained only the first chapter, which at that time, had already been posted on stepheniemeyer.com. While there are legitimate arguments about whether the person on e-bay should be selling it, the actual product was created legally and with permission.

Why, oh why does this event have to be on a Tuesday? I would love to go, but unfortunately my schedule won’t allow that! I hope some of you guys are able to go, though! The ‘Midnight Sun’ sampler sounds like an unfortunate issue – I hadn’t heard about that before but that’s really interesting.
Are you anywhere near this event? Do you plan on attending? And what about the Midnight Sun sampler – have you heard about the sampler?
