HITFIX: ROB CONFIRMED PRESENTER FOR OSCARS

HitFix can exclusively confirm that Robert Pattinson will be presenting an award at this year’s 81st Academy Awards.The “Twilight” star had long been rumored to appear on Hollywood’s biggest night, but barring any unforeseen last minute conflicts, he’ll be giving the franchise’s legion of fans something to look forward to on Oscar Sunday.
Still unclear is whether Pattinson’s “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart will also appear on the telecast and what award he will specifically present. And, obviously, speculation will now run rampant on who Pattinson’s date down the red carpet will be.

I wonder exactly which one he will be presenting for….any ideas? Do you hope to see Kristen with him? Either way, at least he will get to say his lines (unlike at the MTV Awards). What do you think?

So, he committed to appear on the Oscars. This means he is back in LA or has returned since his visit in London. I would have thought that Kristen would appear and not Robert because of his wanting to “hide-out” or should I say “hide-away” of the media following his every move.
I feel confident that he has accepted this thrust into fame so quickly in the last few months. He has embraced that this is what he wants to do and hopefully not what he HAS to do. Okay back to what our dear Rob we would LOVE to see him in…well, I do not know which designer would look best on him…I can picture him in a tux or a simple, classic-style suit that will accent his “dairy-aire”. If you know what I mean.
I will have to set the TiVo for the event.
I hope all the hype will not start again, around Rob again, he seem to have a sensitive soul, but I am glad he is going to be a presenter at the Oscars….now I might watch it this year and not just get the results on the web the next day
I’m so excited! I generally hate award shows. I usually watch the red carpet to see what people are wearing but besides that they usually bore me. This year I really can’t wait! I’m sure Rob will look dashing in just about anything.
I bet he is nervous though. He says he has anxiety and what not. I bet he’ll do great though. And Kristen is sure to look beautiful if she is there as well.

Rob has a major fan following. This move is about ratings for the Oscars and exposure for Rob. He will bring in tons of viewers, glad to see he is getting some respect. I hope the recognition and respect will continue after the release of Little Ashes.

Hold on there. The Academy announced VERY early on that they were not releasing names of any presenters prior to the ceremony. While I think it would be FANTASTIC for ANY Twilight people to be involved, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
I’d love to see him dressed in an Armani tuxedo! I also hope he’ll keep his cute Brit accent while presenting the award!

And I am worried he might not walk the red carpet - they mentioned something about having certian presenters NOT walk the carpet so you had to watch the show to see what they were wearing…..they might think he is big enough deal to get major eyeballs watching and not have him walk the carpet……

Robert is now back in LA, go to his IMDb board for pics. He is GORGEOUS,(when isn’t he?) his sex hair has grown back in full force, nicely styled and he is working a sexy beard. He was shopping on Rodeo Drive with his manager. You know what that means…tux shopping! Getting Robert to present at the Oscars was the SMARTEST thing they have done, he has tons of fans and the internet is buzzing about this. People who don’t even watch this are now bec. of him.He will look soooo sexy in a tux and wil put the other men to shame.
